3 lost players looking for a new DM

We 3 players found each other when a DM was looking for players for their game. A week leading up to the first session they went completely silent and has since disappeared, leaving us high and dry. We would still like to play and are open to most types of games and are ready to learn. I (the poster) have some experience with 5e and 3.5, wile the other two people are completely new players, if you are willing to teach them how to play.

I might be able to help, can you share a bit more info, e.g time zone, age group, genre preference etc.

I am 26, live in a cst time zone, and don't really have a preference at this time. I've only played in like the standard "medieval" dnd setting, but am more than open to trying anything else as long as i'm having fun.

Another person is 17, live in cet time zone, and they like horror, mystery/thriller, fantasy, sci fi, and comedy.

and the third person is 22, live in pst time zone, and don't really have preferences yet either other than not really liking scary stuff.

Well I'm a bit of mad scientist DM, preferring dark fantasy mixed with sci-fi. Unfortunately I'm in Australia and is 15 hours off cst, so it might be tricky to get an appropriate time that works for everyone, but if you'd like we can organise a session zero some time over this weekend with your whole group, just for a quick chat, and if things work out, I'll be happy to DM, and if not, than no hard feelings either :) if that sounds okay with your group than add me to a discord chat at Minix 0318 say Friday 6:00pm cst or roughly 6 hours from this message for reference
