Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Any Location/Timezone: GMT 0 (London/Lisbon Timezone) Schedule: Group will have sessions once a week, either on Saturdays or Sundays at 9pm till 1 am GMT 0. Every Saturday, the DM will inform if the next session will be on Saturday or Sunday. Roles sought: 4 players Game style: Roleplay and Lore focused
My name is Dan and I've been playing D&D for around 5 years. I've been DMing a face to face group for 3 years but unfortunately the group had to come to an end cause many players moved out of the country and no longer have time to play. I'm looking to form a new long-term group of 4 players and 1 DM.
Experience is not required, I'll be happy to teach new players how to play D&D. The only requirements are:
+18 years old
Have a decent Webcam and Microphone
Be free on both Saturdays and Sundays at 9pm - 1 am GMT 0
Be ready to commit to the group for a long-term campaign.
Information about the game:
We will start with Lost Mine of Phandelver and then move to a longer campaign in the official setting of Forgotten Realms.
Lost Mine of Phandelver is an adventure for four to five characters of 1st level. During the course of the adventure, the characters will advance to 5th level. The adventure is set a short distance from the city of Neverwinter in the Sword Coast region of the Forgotten Realms setting. The Sword Coast is part of the North — a vast realm of free settlements surrounded by wilderness and adventure.
After advancing to level 5 and completing the adventure, the characters will be able to continue on their journey by taking upon a new adventure in the Forgotten Realms and giving rise to a new and longer campaign.
Tools for the campaign:
- DnD Beyond Account: Access to character sheets, dice rolls and the content of D&D. The DM is going to share with you all the books that are allowed to be used for this campaign. You will have access to them and will be able to build your characters using its character options. Only the books shared by the DM will be allowed for this campaign.
- Old Bear Rodeo: Website that offers a map tool similair to many VTT. We will use it for battles.
- Forgotten Realms Wiki: Wiki created and updated by fans, contains all the lore and history of the forgotten Realms.
DM: Are you sure that's what you want to do? Half-Orc Barbarian with 7 Charisma: Yes I want to seduce the big bad dragon. DM: Ok... roll... Half-Orc Barbarian with 7 Charisma: Natural 20. DM: Oh... well... The dragon falls for your charms and takes you with him to his nest where you live happily ever after.
