I'm a 28 year old HS English teacher and D&D enjoyer with almost 3 years of experience (like many others, I picked it up in quarantine!) and I'm looking for a partner in crime! I'll keep it brief but the general idea is this: I want to play a long-term solo campaign with someone equally invested in collaborative storytelling and character development as I am!
My time-zone is EST and I'm currently very flexible in my availability, save for a game I run on the weekend. I don't have a specific day in mind but my Saturdays are essentially the only days I cannot play.
I plan on using Discord and mostly rely on theatre of the mind, though I do use FoundryVTT on occasion.
As a DM:
Between DMing and being a player, I prefer taking the role of DM, though I would love to be able to switch roles with my partner! I would like to run a game with a heavy roleplay focus (RP/combat/exploration = 50%/20%/30%), and I'd like it to be on the more difficult side so ideally I'm looking for a player that doesn't shy away from a challenge -- with plenty of reward, of course! You are the main character, after all. :)
As a player:
I'm obviously super into roleplay, exploration, and combat (in that order!). As a player, you can expect me to be extremely invested in your world and story! I get deeply involved in
I'd hope we can be friends outside of the game, too, so being comfortable with each other is definitely important!
So, in short, please be a dope person who wants to have fun playing a nerdy game and experiencing the most epic of adventures! If you think you'd be a good fit, then shoot me a message here or discord (honey♡#0444) -- please keep in mind the more effort you put into your message, the more likely I am to read it! ^^
