Game-type : DND 5.0 Game start : Every Saturday, 15 : 00 - 15 : 30 [C.E.T] Time-zone : Central European Time-zone [C.E.T] (GMT+1) Gameplay : RP 65%, Combat 35% Game Duration : 3-6 hours (Or longer if everyone is enjoying themselves) Style : Grey Dark ( Not a friendly environment, but not all hope is lost yet.) Age Req. : 18 and above. Language : English (Able to communicate coherently, perfect is not a must) Platforms : Discord and Roll 20. Experience : Beginners preferred, but all are welcome
Disclaimer note :
If you deviate from C.E.T time zone with 4+ hours I'd advise you to look for another game. There are things in this game that are banned, such as spells, feats, and so forth. There are a couple custom house rules in this game that will be explained and listed. I'm not a cruel DM, but be prepared for the possibility of character death. My monsters are tailored to the players' power and the flow of the game. (Custom monsters)
Short description of the game's story:
Welcome to the Tears of Tyranny, a home-brew campaign of my making. Here you will take place as survivors in a world of treachery, cruelty, and misery. The story will take place in the far away land of the Mainland, where you wake up to a mysterious call of power. You don't know where this power comes from, or what it truly wants. But one thing is for certain, it has spoken to you and now, you are here. With these new found powers in your hands, you are drawn to the wheels of fate themselves, finding yourself in situations that could change the outcome of battles, political debates, and make kingdoms rise, and fall. With the world in Turmoil, and Empires standing at each others necks with blades drawn, and the enemies of old awakened, and revived after the Cataclysm, what will you do? Will you cover and flee, hoping that the Winds of Change, and Storm of War shall elude you? Will you stand up, with weapons drawn, and cry havoc towards the sky in an attempt to stop the ruination of the world? Or will you cast your steel and iron to the side, and help those that have been caught by the destruction of mayhem, and do what you can to help them? This, is up to you, one of the Awakened. Who's power while subtle, yet game changing. To always be, where you need to be. What are your Origins of power, and what you are capable of, none of you are assured of, but one thing is for certain. Hesitate now, and the world, as you know it, will be no more.
Details of the game
Grey dark mostly covers that this story will be brutal in places, but it won't focus on solely on that alone. Humour, interactions and many adventures await, where your choices can make a difference. There are no good or bad decisions. Only consequences of said actions. Experience is rewarded both for combat and feats. Additional XP can be earned through good role-play as well. To uncover the lore and story of this world, you'll need to explore and hunt for them to find out more. While you the player characters know some, many knowledge of the world is hidden. But its another question as of why, and who hid them from you. This game will be played on Roll-20. If you don't have an account don't worry I'll help you out with the process. Speaking of players, I don't mind if a beginner with barely no experience or a veteran with years of knowledge comes into this game, but I like to give chances to new players to experience DND.
Expectations (IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY.)
I expect the player that is invited to the game to work together and help each other in battle and role-play alike. Yes, that means you can't bring your betrayer character here. Another thing I'd like you to do, is to make sure to be aware of yourself. This means that while having fun is good, do make sure to let others have fun too, and give the spotlight to others as well.
Rules set in stone (IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY.)
I can't believe I have to post this, but sadly here we are.
While the game is fun and enjoyable by many, I will set my foot on a couple of rules that you need to know about dear player. Breaking these rules will grant the offender a warning, and after the second time, without WARNING they are banned from the game, no trial no questions. As the dungeon master it is my duty to make sure everyone is having a fun time, and I will NOT tolerate in my game the following offences.
Making racist slurs. Making a player/players uncomfortable with intentional unfriendly behaviour. Disregarding teamwork, and actively undermining your teammates. Leave real life politics out of the game.
While I understand conflicts can rise between view points of the players, they should remain PRIVATE. If you have an issue with each-other please be civilized and discuss it between yourselves. If I'm needed I'll act as mediator in the conflict.
If you think this game would suit you, and you'd enjoy playing this daring adventure, don't hesitate to write to me on KriegIronHide#2593 on DISCORD. You can also write a DM here but I check my discord more often than DND-beyond. I won't be able to respond instantly so don't worry if I don't write back, I'm probably working so please, be patient.
Thank you for your time and have a lovely day. Krieg.
Hi there, I'd like to throw my hat in the ring and potentially join y'alls campaign. I'm based in the UK, so times won't be an issue and I'm free Saturdays.
