No longer a small settlement vying to carve out her own right to survival, Newholm has grown into a true fortified city amongst the ancient jungle continent of Faeyis. The Captain’s Gate stands as broad and proud as the shoulders of General Arethusa, commander of Newholm’s newly-restructured military force, and hospitably welcomes travelers, traders, and dignitaries all the same. Newholm’s walls have been rebuilt and reinforced, and where once was rubble now is rebirth as fresh businesses and establishments spring up around Inspiration Square and Port Market. Not a trace of Aaravos’ dark attacks remain, and relations with both the Summer and Winter Courts are distant at best but there is peace once again…

… but how long will that hold?

The Midnight Star, Aaravos, was prepared to reduce Newholm to a crater in the ground in his desperate hunt, though only a few of Faeyis’ Finest know the truth of what he sought. Somewhere within the glimmering city of hope lies a secret, hidden away and forgotten by most, but not by all. The world in which the continent of Faeyis is nestled seems to all at once come alive and narrow its’ collective conscience towards this proud little city, and new identities yearn to break free of the bindings of repetition (struggling with the right word here- looking for like… a term to encompass being exactly the same as everyone else?). From all cardinal directions come fresh faces; from the north, Springport, and the Lothbrok Dynasty, then even further north still, another continent and the Kingdom of Benden. From the south on great beasts of burden come the people of Aonui- and even beneath Faeyis itself, a haunted city of darkness, Cehueloyán. With an entire world now jostling in a rat race for an unassuming city in the jungle, where does your journey take you? Who will you become?
