(Closed now since we are full! Best wishes finding a group for you!) Well, I see that many new players are looking for a group, and I think I would enjoy teaching while I have time. This will be a passion project that I intend to be all about having fun.
All events run by me will start at 6pm Central Standard Time on Mondays and/or Wednesdays unless otherwise stated. One thing I do care about is being on time and communicating when you will be absent or late as it is important to respect the time of other players. I am more than open to events being held by others as we progress, with or without me.
Our first event will be a group character creation session, which should be an absolute blast!
We will have a dedicated discord that could host many campaigns!
My campaign settings, which are primarily in Critical Role's Exandria, have been tested by both new and veteran players! We will explore deserts teeming with terrifying creatures, jungles rife with surprise and mystery, and tundras that could make a yeti long for a beach vacation!
I am an educator by trade, so you can expect an educational approach to the game.
Some ground rules:
1. The discord server is dedicated to fantasy and fiction centered around D&D, so conversations about real world issues should take place in another server or privately.
2. If someone becomes a recurring source of dramatics, I will simply remove them to maintain the health and safety of the server. Remember that this is a passion project, so my threshold for negativity is quite low. This does not mean you have to agree with me (or the DM) but that all must remain kind.
3. It is normal to question the DM; however, whether they are right or wrong, it is their game. If the DM asks to move on from a dispute, the player will move on. Further discussion will take place privately. Remember that this is only a game, and we are trying to have fun more than anything.
If this brief overview is appealing to you, please send me a private message on here, D&D Beyond. I am not likely to respond to anything else.
In the message, please tell me a bit about yourself, your experience level, and what you're looking for out of D&D! If all goes well, I will bring you into the server.
If you have any questions, feel free to post below!
Hi! I'm a new player and I am interested in joining your group to learn all about DnD! I have an atypical schedule but I will warn in advance if I cannot be there on a particular night. Hope it is ok!
For those who have posted here or messaged me and have not received a response, it is simply due to that fact I can't respond to every message since there were a ton of responses. Unfortunately, we are full! However, I will post if some players drop out!!! Please keep trying to find a group, and I wish you all the very best.

We have a group forming already! Our first event will likely happen this week, so the earlier the better and the more the merrier!
