If you are reading this, and want to play with new people while under an experienced DM, then you have come to the right place!
THIS ADVENTURE IS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO REQUESTED TO JOIN. PLEASE STAY POSTED AS I MAY HAVE ANOTHER ADVENTURE PLANNED BECAUSE OF THE GREAT TURNOUT OF REQUESTS.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: 8+ years Location/Timezone: Mountain, Central, Eastern Availability: Saturday and Sunday Night Preferred role: DM Game style: Classical story-driven
You must be willing to commit to at least 2 hours worth of gameplay, one night a week on either Saturday or Sunday night (after 4pm).
I am looking for four (4) adventurers who want to take part in a short story set in the world of Exandria on the continent of Wildemount. This adventure, although short (probably 4 sessions), is designed to build chemistry between the group to potentially lead to a much longer adventure in the future (either with the same characters or with an entire set of characters/world). My goal is to bring a level of professionalism, fun, and excitement to the group through a strong story narrative that leaves you with an enriched experience.
This adventure will be running in a purely digital format, using the tools of D&D Beyond, voice chat (video not required), along with some simple software for grid combat. I'm fairly new to the digital format, so please extend some grace to me as I used to only do in-person sessions. I have a Master Teir subscription, so I am willing to share my ebooks to help with character creation.
Below is a quick summary of the adventure, my background, and how I am as a DM followed by player requirements.
Story Summary
From the lands of the Menagerie Coast, strange lights have appeared above the forest just east of Port Damali. At first, they were a dazzling sight to the locals, yet after two separate search parties who went to investigate these strange anomalies never returned, fear has risen in the port. No one knows where they came from, but are starting to suspect something much more cynical in happening deep in the woods.
Now Marquis Olesya Lapidus has halted all commerce from leaving the port to the east along the Guilded Roadway. This embargo on various goods from being transported, the weight on the local economy can be felt, and the denizens are beginning to panic for the future of their home.
With a call for help, Lapidus has offered a reward of 5,000gp to whoever can discover what these lights are and where the missing search parties went. For new adventurers, this is the time to really sink their teeth into a thrilling adventure!

My friend and I are two experienced players would love to play as Oscar the garbage druid Grouch and Barbarian Cookie Monster. A warlock Big Bird (patron Snuffelupagus) might be a fun edition! This doesn't have to actually OCCUR on Sesame street. Our characters could exist in some other realm. Mr. Hooper as a BBEG would be a plus, but not necessary. 🤣 Discod Jhulcyrl#8714

Be who you are and say how you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
It's been over 20 years since I played a ttrpg and would love to jump back in. I'd be classed as new unless knowing how to calculate Thac0 is still useful :D
Hello! I don't know if you are still looking for players, but if you are, then I would be interested! Lemme make a simple resume-
- More than 1 year experience with playing DnD 5e, a mix between being a player and a DM but mostly a player! - I played in a lot of different tables and I can say that I am pretty chill and I usually get well with strangers, so you don't have to worry with me blending in or not! - I usually play online, but I have played in person a couple of times! - I am 20 years old, and I'm always trying to play with new people to have new experiences and friendships! - I usually pay a lot of attention, and I'm constantly taking notes of what the DM is saying, but I know to not steal all the spotlight to myself, so I like giving other players a little push to do something! - I am on the UTC-3 timezone, but I usually stay up late, so I would be more than happy to join y'all into a new adventure! - I like messing around to tease everyone and to get funny moments to happen, but when the moment is serious, I know when to shut up and pay attention!
Let me know if i am worth it or not, feel free to message me on Discord since it's more likely I'll see there! Fake#5646
