Hello! I go by Kai (22 y.o., he/they) Pretty much a new player here, having spent a majority of my time with TTRPGs by watching other campaigns online. I saw the homebrew from r/FFXIVxDnD and it practically made me giddy with excitement, so hoping to find a DM and a group of players to do a campaign for! Don't really mind where it's set (in Eorzea or otherwise) just looking to have a good time!
Currently looking for any weekday at pretty much anytime since I currently only work weekends at the moment, learning how some of the online systems like Roll20 work, so no real preference for which system other players/GM prefers, and would be ideal to keep voice chats over Discord. I know that's kind of a vague sense of a time frame so consider me fairly flexible for most session times!
Since I'm kind of diving head first into the deep end of the pool, I would totally be okay with being one of, if not the only new player at the table, as long as we're cool with helping each other along the way while not being too uptight about the overall rules: at the end of the day I think we all just want to have fun! Looking to have anywhere between 4-8 PCs total. If need be, totally okay with doing a quick one-shot before a proper Session 0 if we have more newer folks!
To anyone interested I do prefer that you are LGBTQ+ and Furry friendly, willing to collaborate and compromise, clear and open about communicating, (whether that be scheduling or otherwise, being able to send their things for players to stand in for them if need be) Story-driven character-focused, and committed and invested; Wanting to do a long campaign that takes a good while. Open to the idea of roleplay and improv, however I know that can be kind of intimidating so if a majority want things to be a bit more casual, that's totally cool too! At the end of the day, really telling a good collaborative story that the whole table can get really invested is fun, but either/or works. However, if we take the more intense storytelling route I imagine there might be some intense moments at some points throughout the campaign, so all I ask is that background noise is minimal, at least when it matters the most if that makes sense 😅
Got a neat little form you can fill out, maybe we can get in touch to establish what we might want out of the game?
