Hello and good day. Exandria based long term campaign is strong preference for us as we are all fans of Critical role and most familiar with Mercer's Exandria, but we are also open for Forgotten Realms sandbox.
That said we are hoping to find GM to guide us :D
*Story begins*
Take us through Tal'dorei to the far Wildemount and even Netherdeep.
Genre(s): High fantasy, throw in elements of steampunk if it makes sense
Type: Sandbox - preferred
Mix - slight railroading should be fine
Campaign: Long term
*** Trial: one-shot or short beginner campaign
*** As we want to build something long term we would prefer to do something short before committing us and you. Makes no point continuing if we don’t fit and can’t reach mutual ground. Both sides should enjoy the time together.
COMFORT AND SAFE PLACE COMES ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE FOR ALL OF US !
HARASSMENT, RACISM OF ANY FORM, HUMILIATION OR ANYTHING THAT WOULD IN ANY WAY DEVALUE A PERSON AT THE TABLE IS FORBIDDEN!!!
About us
Experience: Mixture of beginners and intermediate players
Style: Mixture of roleplay, combat and exploration. We would like to put emphasis on roleplay and developing our characters as livable and breathing persons but we will not say no to a good battle when the story and our actions lead to it. Also exploration should be also part of the package. We should be looking on 60/40 in favor of roleplay. However, as we would like our actions to dictate the story and that world grows and lives, if we end up spending a few sessions figuring out stuff, researching, exploring or just drinking in a tavern followed by sessions of fighting for our lives it is how it should be.
Success or failure, crazy ideas or well forged plans will be all in the spirit of our characters and us wanting to have fun and enjoyable time.
.
Comfort: Adults. We have nothing against blood and gore usually found in fantasy worlds as well having some softer and comfortable time. With all that said, things should be presented in a tasteful manner. Being able to deliver us a visual of the situation without going into explicit stuff with insinuating something should be fine, as well fade to black when that is relevant.
What to expect: Session 0 or sit down and talk should be a decent start. We will come clear with our stuff and you should as well. Time wasting is out of the question because we as players and you as GM need to work together for mutual enjoyment and fun.
Communication: Offending or slighting is no one's intention, us players or you as GM. Being able to express feelings in a normal human manner should be the foundation of healthy cooperation between both sides. Bottling it up and just waiting for it to escalate brings just harm. Good flow of communications is essential and should go beyond misunderstandings.
Disclosure of reasons which go into private or intimate matters should go up to personal discretion. There would be no pressure or push towards the stuff which aren’t our or your business.
Sweet annoying ticks: Can happen that we attack you with that, but we would also be prepared to receive a taste of our medicine. All in a good and friendly spirit.
House Rules: Any house rules which change workings of key mechanics should be shared at start so we are able to adjust our character creation. We could be open on trying tested homebrew stuff if it could further enrich our game.
Rules Debate: We would like to avoid unnecessary and heated debates during the game and the DM's final should be taken as is to continue with the game and not lose valuable time. It is really appreciated when the GM would be open to a discussion about particular interpretation of rule/s. Without arguing, just to offer different view and to vent out in mature way.
Romance: Our hope is that we should be allowed to pursue romantic involvement in games under watch and keep it realistic and tasteful. If the DM personally is against a particular romance due the nature of the story, we appreciate being informed on time.
The team: Party of 6 newfound friends connected through D&D, all different and unique while sharing similarities.
We are all PERSONS !!!!!
