Hi there everyone.
My name is Thea (She/Her), and I come with a partner in crime also (She/Her), we've been looking for a game for some time, but unfortunately my availability was never too good. But now things have changed in my life and I have a bit more spare time to dedicate to something like this.
We're both LGBTQIA+ and are looking for an inclusive game that will accommodate for our love of story and building party relationships. We're looking for something special and something that will be regular, so are happy to wait for the right thing to come along.
It's likely that we'll join a game with a linked concept, and would like to be able to explore that with our fellow players and DM. We have a set of lines and veils available, we are open to games with more adult themes if we think we can trust the DM. We'd like to play with people close to our age as we're both in our 30's.
If we sound like your kind of people, please do drop me a nudge via DM.
[We are open to Paid games, but we'd rather it be a paid game that ticked all of our boxes, and ideally not someone who has 50 games a week, we'd like someone who has time to focus on our characters and us as players.]
We have a backstory update for our characters should anyone be looking for a pair of very dedicated players to come and play in their world. <3 We're happy to world build with our DM.
Backstory
Ceres and Kai were childhood friends. When they were five, they had been playing in their 'secret place': a hollowed out space inside the old sacred tree that they had been warned not to mess around with, however when an opportunity for a place between the worlds of parental guidance and the independence of adulthood presents itself to young children, they are bound by conventions lost to adulthood to explore it.
Screams and the sound of clashing metal; heat, fire, the smell of smoke, blood appears more black than red, you don’t know until you see so much. The sacred tree protects? The sacred tree is gone. Their world is gone.
A week later travelling merchants found the two of them, dirty, starving, and near death, holding hands and wandering aimlessly down a road seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
They refused to be separated for long and ended up in the same orphanage where they stayed for three years, learning to speak, read and write in Common. “There aren’t many like you in this world”, a phrase they would come to hear many times, though their heritage not entirely evident upon first sighting; but once you’d known the girls long enough, their stories of winged beings, their parents, a city sat inside golden skies.
Many moons passed with no-one willing to take the strange girls into their family. Eventually it became that time of the year when the High Priestess of the temple of Sekero came to bring those unwanted few into the embrace of the Father of Balance. The girls, one with dark blue hair, golden eyes, the other with pastel pink and blue eyes were the epitome of what she sought, not to mention the aura of their lineage that was undeniable by one with such connection to the divine. When Ceres was pulled from the bundle of children, Kai stepped forward too, grasping Ceres’s arm. The Temple Guardian trainer who had come with their own recruitment initiative nodded to the high priestess, and the rest was history.
Ceres and Kai were raised in the same Temple for another 3 years before they were separated at age 10; both chosen to follow diverging paths. 10 years passed and the two lock eyes in the temple grounds, no words shared, no animosity. Five years later, Ceres is asked by the High Priestess to undertake a mission of importance, to retrieve an artefact long lost to the temple. Collecting her things and making for the prepared transportation, it was then she saw Kai holding the reins.
The Temple of Sakero
Sakero is the God of Balance, worshipped the world over, asked to bring things into line when they are on a negative path, and cursed when good things finally come to an end. His Symbolism is a scale, one side dark and one side light. The symbolism also includes two smaller figures, the Demi Gods Takarto (Light) (TAH-KAR-TOE) and Kuwarie (Dark) (COO-WAH-RAY), The daughters of Sakero and a human woman, the daughters were said to have spread both light and dark across the world through acts of compassion and acts of aggression.
The Temple of Sakero is split into many different sects, however the most prominent of those is the split between Light and Dark. Those who are pushed to follow the way of Kuwarie are taught to be a force of vindictive righteousness, to understand lust, and power, connections to others that are both wonderful and sometimes parasitic whilst never giving in wholeheartedly to the temptations that surround what Kuwarie once was, an epithet of all that would destroy the world. Those who sit beneath the teachings of Takarto are taught compassion and kindness, to balance the darkness in the others, they are often employed to ensure that the darkness does not envelope their counterparts.

Kuwarie (The Guardians)
