Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Any experience level welcome Location/Timezone: San Diego/PDT Schedule: Weekly on Tuesdays from 2 to 5 PM. An earlier start is possible, but as I have a Cyberpunk Red game later in the evening, later is not. Roles sought: Players [Max 5] Game style: This is a homebrew game in a setting heavily inspired by Horizon Zero Dawn and Final Fantasy. Expect lots of roleplay and exploration, some fun combat, and the occasional puzzle with a healthy dose of intrigue.
Summary: The Golden Coast, once an idyllic bastion of peaceful life, is under attack by the Axion Empire! As their forces advance, it's up to you and your companions to find out what they're really after, and put a stop to their nefarious plans before the whole world suffers the consequences.
Setting: Thera is a world heavily inspired by Horizon Zero Dawn and Final Fantasy. Thousands of years ago, an unknown calamity wiped out the Ancients, a highly advanced civilization that had mastered both magic and technology. Now, the world lives in the shadow of their ruins, scavenging for magitech artifacts and braving deadly machines. Explore the world and unlock the secrets of the Ancients as you wage an asymmetric war to save your home.
Level: This campaign will start at level 3
Races: All races are allowed except for Kender, Kenku, Pixies, and Aarokocra.
Allowed Sources: All officially published material is allowed except for Strixhaven.
GM: I've been playing TTRPGs for 20 years and DMing for the last 10. 6 of those years have been spent as a professional DM, organizing and running large-scale game nights at local breweries, as well as running tables at San Diego Comic-Con. My main focus as a GM is fun, and I like running a relatively high power game so that I can throw lots of big nasties at my players and let them do cool stuff and be badasses. This doesn't mean I run a cakewalk, just that I like to indulge the power-fantasy within reason.
