Game: D&D 5e (at first)

Experience: I'd prefer you have some experience with TTRPGS or be ready to learn quickly.

Timezone: CST

Schedule: It's PBP and I'm very available but I expect the most consistent times will be my afternoon/evening.

Roles sought: I'm going to be interviewing everyone who contacts me about player positions as I intend to make this a long term group and I want to have as many options as possible. I'll be running 4-6 PCs at a time.

Me and my best friend want to start playing consistently with a consistent group of people.

We want to do campaigns that feel less "epic fantasy" and have more heavy drama and story-driven elements.

We'd also like to try a few different systems than dnd now and again.

It is a PBP game, but we'd like to actually get to play. If you can't be consistent please don't contact me.

The games I intend to run in this server will be over text, and will not be the kind of high fantasy/epic fantasy you might be used to with D&D. (With the exception of some fun one-shots and short campaigns for levity.)

Were going to be playing more full and grounded characters in worlds Gothic, grimdark, or simply grounded/realistic. Expect less melodrama, the likelihood that you can "lose" at this story is not inevitable, but it is more likely than in typical games.

Expect more of a focus on narrative, Expect combat to be descriptive and part of the story rather than the 15-30 minute fun break between shopping episodes that you might have grown used to.

All this to say, if you're looking for sord and sorcery and want to slay dragons or save the princess this probably isn't a good fit.

Dont know if you'd prefer I pm or comment but this sounds pretty interesting, I'd definitely love to try my hand at more serious settings with more rp.
