Can't exactly help in person, but a group of friends and I have a discord channel in which we're always looking for additional players or DMs to add to the group. All sorts of experience levels. Send a message if online interaction might suffice until you're able to find your in-person group!
If you're looking for games, try out The Forged Concordance. We're a westmarch that has a lot of games and DM's. Games are run in all time zones and there's at least a 100 games available to sign up for every month across all the levels. Sign up, get a character approved and get to gaming!
