Player (moderately experienced) or DM (ameteur) looking for fun people to enjoy some good old DnD

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online is generally easier
Experience: a few years - I have played a few characters and done a few small one shots as a DM
Location/Timezone: CST time zone, but I'm fairly flexible when I can.
Availability: Generally available whenever I can schedule the time required. Fridays/saturdays are great, or break up the bleakness of a monday.
Preferred role: DM or Player
Game style: I love games with fairly relaxed and creative people. I'm generally accepting or might make use of homebrew as allowed. But I'm also happy sticking to 'published' content if the need is there. I don't mind creative min-maxing so long as there is story elements to back such things up. I sometimes like playing monstrous races for the social challenge.

Heyyyyy! Not sure if paid campaigns are something you're interested in - if not, please ignore- but if they are, may I interest you in a new campaign I'm starting up next week? (was supposed to start this week but had some emergency stuff with my cat 😔) My game style is much more RP focused, character driven, and lets players add as much or as little to the setting/story as they'd like. This game is 11am PST / 2pm EST on Thursdays!

You are all descendants of ancient royals who founded the kingdoms of the Isle of Kings - be it still part of the current royal family, deposed and living in hiding, or living a blissfully normal life having no clue who you are descended from. Your blood chose you as a champion to inherit a powerful weapon to defend from an oncoming threat - but you'll have to band together and find the weapons first.
