Hello! I'm a longtime player & DM looking to join another group as a player. Here's a little info about me.
My name is LS (she/her), and I'm in my 30s. I've been playing since I was a wee pre-teen in my basement, back in the long long ago. The beforetimes. Ye olden days, as they say.
In the many years in between, I've dabbled with a lot of games/systems/editions, but I am now pretty much only playing 5e. I've been playing 5e weekly since it's debut, and I've got a really great grasp of the rules and mechanics. I've done some DMing, and hope to again in the future, but right now I'm just looking to be a player again. I'm comfortable playing just about any class, though I do have a tendency to lean towards casters. But who knows! I'm feeling a bit itchy to give a martial a go, too. I am very comfortable with RP, and like a lot of it in my games.
I like games with a fairly equal balance between RP, combat, and exploration. I'm very dedicated to character growth and worldbuilding, and I really love building characters and relationships.
I'm looking for an online game on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday due to my work schedule. I have a fixed schedule that never changes; if I commit to a day and time for a campaign, I will be there unless there's an actual emergency. I am respectful of people's time and a very punctual person. I like it when the people I play with are, as well. I am LBGTQ+ friendly, and would like any group I am part of to be, too.
I have no preferences as to homebrew or published modules. I just want to have fun in a group of like-minded people. As far as settings go, I love almost everything, and I'm very familiar with Faerun. I like historical settings, horror, steampunk, nautical/pirates, apocalyptic... but I'm not huge on evil campaigns, or space. I'm more of a fantasy nerd.
I'm looking for a game that uses voice (I have discord, I'm familiar with both Roll20 and Foundry VTT) and does not require webcams. I have a good mic, very open to doing soundchecks. I have discord, and I can give you my handle via PM if desired. I prefer to use DNDBeyond character sheets, and I'm open to sharing my resources there with a campaign.
If you think I might be a good fit somewhere, please reach out to me! Additionally, if you're a DM looking for multiple players, I have a handful of friends very much like me (in terms of playstyle, preferences, and experience) that are looking for games as well. I could get a group of us together VERY easily! lol
I currently have a campaign with three players and we are looking for a few more!
Game time is set on Wednesday at 7:00 EST.
We are running the 5th edition module, Lost Mines of Phandelver. Its a great introductory module for new players, returning players and anyone in between. I've taken some time to re-vamp this module with some twists and turns to make it a little more engaging and involved. And since you're familiar with Faerun this should be right up your alley!
Game runs weekly for 3ish hours a session Using 5E rules. We will be using a combination of Discord and D&D Beyond for your character sheet. Voice only. You can feel free to use physical dice or the digital dice on beyond, whichever you choose. I provide all the major sourcebooks and supplemental ones which will be available to you through D&D Beyond so no need to buy any books if you have none.
Session zero for character creation is free plus getting to know the group. Sessions are 7$ a session via paypal or ***** after session zero. If you play the first session and find the campaign not to your liking and don't wish to continue I don't charge for that either. Definitely want to make sure you think its worth it before committing. You can find me on Discord: .turtlepope
I’m new to DND and I’d love to find a group to join! I’m 30ish years old, go by he/him, super easy to get along with and just looking for some fun. I’m free on Tuesday nights.
Trying to see if his is still the best game I've played and th most fun. I'm starting over from DND/ADND to DND 5.0. Looking forward to playing with a group that will accept and old player and Dungeon Master.
Eager to learn the best game I've ever played.
I already have mot of the neccasry books. As a DM I've taught a lot of people how to play and looking forward to caughting up with DND Beyond.
