Godsdream, a realmspace created from inexplicable magic and a land where anything is possible. Bloody millennia have carved out freshborn kingdoms, republics and personal fiefs across the land. What will you make of them? Will you aid upstart despots, cull the weak, help the poor, or perhaps, even crash this realm into another? Anything is possible in this ancient but new land, what will you become?
The world is split into two major continents, in the east and west.
The Western continent, Arelia is a land split between factions bound for conflict.
The Mistborn elves, survivors of the great calamity upon the Phoenix Isle are isolationist elves who hide within their vale of mist, waiting... plotting for the moment of their revenge.
Kroiq's Dukedom, a populous land to the north of the continent, much like the other Arelian populations, is mainly human. However, unlike their Arganan counterparts, they feel neither hatred nor revulsion for their non-human neighbours. Kroiq's dukedom is a series of a few hundred settlements banded together and united by Kroiq Devil Tongue - a Tiefling who united the region when he was but a boy. Kroiq has been at war with the eastern merchant cities for the better part of half a century now and plans to end the madness by all means.
The Four Harbours are the four great merchant cities of the Western continent. Trassitane, Jolgran's Mouth and Sweet Sea are impressive cities whose populations consist of races of all manners and religions aplenty. Whether it be merchants, magicians or adventurers though, all pale in comparison to Crownport. The greatest port city in the world, it is said Crownport once held a thousand warships in its port. Though no longer the blazing jewel of Godsdream, it still dwarfs its competitors. The nominal head of the Four Harbours, Crownsport was vital to their early successes in repelling Koriq's early forces. Seeking allies in the wood elves of Miya and burning all of Koriq's seaports in one fell swoop. The Four Harbours intrigue is their only fault. Once ruled by the Cain family from Crownport, they sought to conquer all of Arelia, yet a storm of daggers within their backs ended that dream, not some bloody battlefield.
Miya, there is little to say about the woodland realm that the tales do not sing. Forests of talking trees, and a people so beautiful and wild travellers never deign to leave. But Miya's history isn’t what all believe. A consortium of woodland tribes unified by the great ancestor who lives within the upon the world tree's roots, it takes but a whisper from the grand matriarch and the shade of the woodland's arrows will block out the sun forever more.
To the Far West of the Miya forests, we land upon the Bloodlands of Gurk. A blighted land where little grows, it is home to the more... savage races of Godsdream. War after war, endless fighting and at the centre of it all, Throg's Throne. The great palace of Throg, Throat Cutter. Throg, slayer of Throg the Elder, and defiler of Throg the Ascended. The great orc styles himself a God-King. Will he ascend, or be struck down by greater beings than he? One cannot know, but the influx of mercenaries and warriors seeking his approval and riches has only made his power grow.
Elysium, the most sparse of the Arelian realms is a strange place. There is little to it but for a colossal volcano. A dark place, where the sun does not shine. All that have good sense stay away from it. Though... there are riches untold beneath the fiery mountain, or in the stories of old yore.
To the very south of Arelia lies Osmir, or the shattered realms that once belonged to him. The Osmiri desert is split into nomadic tribes, who have a long hatred of each other. Some kind of Osmiri blood feud they say, though I wonder what would keep them at war for so long. They were a force to be reckoned with once, could they ever be again? Perhaps, with the right encouragement.
Draz Kuan, the Lost Kingdom. The Kingdom of Dwarves has stood the testament of time, though barely. Forced from most of their mountain fortresses, the Dwarves of Arelia have their final citadel in the sandy mountains of Southeast Arelia. The Drow took everything from then, and they’re willing to make any alliance, unholy or otherwise to get it back.
Then at the centre of it all, lies Arganan. Teeming with the blood of Arelius the Wise, Arganan was once a city without equal, but upon the dark night and the sinking of the Phoenix Isle that all changed. Monsters the world over terrorised the land, all would have been lost if not for Arelius, King of the Dawn. But Arelius, Saviour of the World Tree is long since murdered. For a thousand years, Arganan paid with its blood for the lives of others. Their bellicose spirit caused them to crusade far across Godsdream, beating back sinners the world over. Their righteousness was their folly though, and their invasion of the Nine Hells caused the direct line of Arelius to perish. Every year their borders recline, and every year their zealotry grows. Now Arganan is little more than a haunted joke within the Wise One's nightmares, a xenophobic nation constantly at war. To the east and even beneath their feet the Drow claw and bite their ankles. To the south, the desert barbarians **** and pillage their way north. To the west Throg's endless hoards assault Orc Skull keep. And in the North, the cannibal wood elves laugh and frolic. Will you help Arganan, once the saviour of the world, or will you let it fizzle out into nothingness as their great city falls into ruins?
The Eastern Continent Esgoroth isn’t the patchwork of powers, like Arelia. No, it is a tyrant and a peasant. Nistria, its domains and the Free Lands of South Sylarn. Grand Nistria is a city of dreams, floating towers with spires so high, that even the gods themselves would grow jealous. But there is a... darker side, the bloodlines of the Nistrian Arch Wizards and Arcanists are paramount. Magic makes might. That is what Ascendant Arcanist Nistria said after all and that is the law Nistria lives by. Now the rest of society live to serve magic, do they not? That is why Breakers Point exists, to produce endless slaves that feed Grand Nistria's magical ambition.
Then there is the rebellion, those freed by Nazkan the Dreamer. The South Sylrans were not a people of one blood, but a sprawling populace of freed men and women. They dare to shake their fist at Nistria and its disgusting ways. But first, they need to save themselves. There is little food in south Sylran compared to the north. Yes, the jungle has been cleared for crops, but little grows, and the great chasm left within the ground from Nazkan and Nistria's great fight spews a hatred that oppresses the land. Help them. Help them to overcome the tyranny. Help them to free the people of Esgoroth.
Howdy! Me and a friend of mine were looking for a new campaign. We both have experience playing and dming, and the location sounds awesome, and I know I'd be totally down to play it, if ya still got spots available. My discord is thepuppetm3st3r

I been playing since the late 80s on and off (yes back when we used pen and paper, rolled real dice, and had THAC0,..lol) of AD&D. I played some 3e and 3.5,..skipped 4e,.. and have played some 5e (just haven't found a decent game yet,... either the game dissolved or personal issues between players caused me to leave,.. but I have had enough sessions with 5e to understand it). My discord is valdimaarhranissonryan and if you still have room id like to discuss the setting and theme more to find a good fit character wise (I have a concept I have been toying with that I would like to see if it fits in your world)
