Are you DM who can't seem to get a consistent group going? Or are you someone who wants to try their hand at DM-ing?
We need you!
Roll4Intitative is a EU/UK based server which has been set up a group who randomly came together and we want to get a community going! But right now we have a severe lack of DM's in the server (it's just me 😭)
If you want to run a game with us please put your idea for the campaign below! Let other adventurers know what your campaign or one-shot will be about and what adventurers should expect!
Make sure to include:
Campaign type [Homebrew/Module]
What your campaign will cover
Date/Time your able to run your game
Number of Players you want in this game
Character Starting Level
Advancement type
Any character restrictions you might have
I'll PM anyone who may be interested with the discord invite link :D
UK based and interested. Have never DM'd before and have only recently returned to playing after a few years away from the table, but this sounds like something I'd enjoy!
I could start in the next few weeks and would be happy to host on a Sunday afternoon, or potentially a Tuesday evening depending on interest.
Think I’d be able to cope with four players providing they'd be patient with me if I have to ponder unexpected actions and consequences for a second. Lower levels would be best, since I've never had a character survive long enough to get higher than five myself so have no experience of higher level games or monsters. Definitely new player friendly!
Would like to use a couple of short pre-made campaigns before attempting to create a couple of home-brew one shots myself - that would be a less frustrating route for everyone while I get used to the nuances of being a DM. A few of the free campaigns with roll20 that look like a good starting place, but can be led if there’s an adventure players really want to explore.
I enjoy low tech, 'ye olde' style worlds best (rural, medieval type settings) as technology and big metal machines don’t do much for me.
I do also want to make some fun little occasional one-shots centred around a home brew species I stumbled across on reddit (mouse folk - they’re so cute!) but want to get a better handle on how to DM before I head down that route. They’d be super casual murder mystery type adventures set in a giant farmstead full of puzzles, big spiders and huge chickens (because everyone is a tiny mouse)… okay I’m stopping now.
Hope you can make sense of the rambling,
TLDR: I’d love to join you and would do my best to be a fun DM
