We currently have 5 people all together, including me. The campaign will run Fridays at 8 pm eastern time. If you would like to run it, but can't make the time, give a time that works and I'll run it by the others. We are a couple sessions in, but at the very beginning. Platform is roll20, all content will be provided. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/374101/dm-needed-for-odyssey-of-the-dragonlords
To answer both questions, I'm afraid 9 am isn't an option, as some of our people are in earlier time zones. For Thumbs' question, we currently have 4 1/2 players, one of our guys got a promotion in his job and had to back out, but could come back occasionally as a guest player. We have applications out on roll20 for a new player and already have an application, the slot could also be filled by someone you know or yourself if you don't decide to DM after reading this. The aim is to have 5 people though, although as DM you would get final say and could add more or less. Our level is 2, if you are familiar with the module we just entered Estoria after visiting the Oracle. If it becomes too confusing though, I'm sure everyone would be ok with a restart. Our expectations currently are just to have a good DM who will be responsible and try their best, but also communicate with us. Our previous DM was so promising and took efforts to include character backgrounds in the story, but then just ghosted us a couple weeks ago and disappeared. No communication, we still don't know why, and his Xbox account was connected to discord and was recently online. So basically just to keep us in the loop is what we are expecting.
I am actually familiar with the module. I know that it can be a long one and a difficult one. Personally about 4 years ago I purchased the hardback copy of the book and have tried running it a few times with little success. Mostly attributed to players not seeming to care or enjoy it. Then again I struggle to get even 3 people to play any module. Feel free to add me on Discord Thumbs#5377 It might be easier to discuss there.
