My name is Peter and I'm looking to start a new Homebrew Campaign. Fairly close to default 5e with a few homebrew rules and a lightly homebrewed setting.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Open to new players, but prefer veteran RP'ers Location/Timezone: 6-9 pm Pacific Time every Tuesday Game style: RP heavy, simulationist style
I'm a reasonably experienced DM working on a long term campaign. Looking for players who are interested in committed RP gaming. The world is lore heavy and meant to feel lived in, interacted with more than just played with like a game. Lots more talking than dice rolling. Expect lots of downtime, PC and NPC relationship building, and meaningful choices/consequences that play out over time. My campaign style/tone I'm shooting for is: Acq Inc "The C Team", though I know that's a high bar to clear.
Also note the campaign is 18+. I don't expect it to get *explicit* but do plan to venture into some dark and mature themes and only want players who are comfortable discussing boundaries, triggers, and exploring mature material respectfully.
My hope is to get players who can make it every week, and will be available to play for months/years to come. I totally understand life gets in the way sometimes and not everyone can make every session, but if you're missing 1 or more sessions a month on the regular, then we'll probably need to replace you with someone who can make it.
The Plan is to use Roll20.net for maps and dice rolling, DnDBeyond character sheets, and Discord for voice/text chat. I'm open to suggestions for other tools, and plan to incorporate regular "check in" sessions as the campaign progresses to make sure we're all getting the most out of the campaign.
Session 0 is planned for Tuesday 9/19, assuming we can get a group together in time. DM me on here and tell me a little about yourself to apply.
