Looking for or to start an in person adults only group. I am a beginner so keep that in mind and here's what I'm looking for specifically.
The goal is to be in a setting where all are welcome and where we can focus on our time together to get the most out of our adventures. These may be pretty limiting requirements and it may take some time to find others for this setting but hey ya never know! I am a beginner so any other ideas are welcome or if by some chance you have a group like this looking for a player please feel free to respond.
4-6 adult players and an experienced DM.
D&D5e, role-playing
Someone to host- no game stores, no children, purely adult setting.
People that are comfortable with tobacco/vape use.
No drug or alcohol use.
Monday nights, anytime Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Thursday afternoons. Up to the group on frequency of playing.
Not sure if this is a given so ill throw it in. Campaign style with what I believe is called a session zero start. Where an experienced DM or other players can help a newbs get started.
Maybe pay to play? Up to the group. I think paying a DM for their time might make the experience even better and limit no shows.
Coming to this forum late. Local in Cheektowaga. Also would like to join a group. Can host at my house. Know how to play 5e but 99.99% of my background is original AD&D. Probably can figure out my age based on that fact. could DM but would be hesitant to do till I got a module (I know they don’t call it that anymore) under my belt. It would also be beneficial to get to know the group from a players side first before running a game. Got to dust off the old lead figures and crank up my Rush albums. Will bring snacks but there is a mandatory requirement of Squirt, grape crush, or RC cola. A toast must be offered before the game to the player that have rolled before us praise be to Gygax. Let all your dice roles be 20. (Last paragraph joking …. ?!??)
hope I haven’t scared anyone away. More importantly, hope that I provided a few laughs.
