Hello everyone I am looking for 3 players to join my online table in our campaign of Decent into Avernus as we just had a player leave due to personal reasons and as a group we have made the choice to try and find few players to bolster our ranks as the party is just 3 people now. The campaign is semi modified as I had them start at level 3 and Elturel has not fallen yet, we have only had two sessions so they are still very much at the beginning of everything. We would be looking for people that are open minded, kind and caring this was not our previous DM before leaving himself and us have built this group on those 3 pillars and want to keep it that way. We play bi-weekly on Tuesdays starting at about 5pm PST and going till about 8pm although we have done later depending on how things go and if people have to leave early. We us discord for voice/video(video is optional) and roll 20 for game maps/combat with the obvious of DnD Beyond for characters, we do have access to content sharing and with that you get the core rules, Tasha's and Xanathars.

I am interested in finding out more about the game ...Im usually not a fan of modules (not having created the theme and the general story usually DMs tend to not put their all into it) but the fact that you "modified" it even a little shows you arent planning on just reading the module as it goes, that you worked it in your head and tried to make it "yours".

I love Rangers but I'd like to give a full spell caster a try.

I prefer RP over combat but that isn't to say that I don't love having a combat encounter whenever the time comes.

Howdy! I'm Noah, a 23 year old man from central Kansas. I use he him pronouns. Frankly I have minimal experience. My brother and I are working on a campaign he plans to DM for us, and that would be my first session. Sadly, we're having trouble finding people for that one. That said, I still have a huge itch to play, so I'm looking for a good group of people to help me learn and to have a good time with. I have read up on the rules, and listen to various campaign streams and podcasts (Critical Roll for example). I'm preferential to roleplaying/story based campaigns, but I do also really enjoy turn based combat. All that to say, I'll find something I really enjoy with any group as long as we get along well. Since I haven't actually played a real game, I can't say that I for sure have a favorite. I do however really enjoy playing support characters in video games, and also like the sound of playing a barbarian. If I had to make a top 3 list, it would probably be cleric, barbarian, and paladin, in any order.

I'd love to know everyone else's game style preferences, and what type of party member they're wanting. I'm super flexible, and more than happy to fill any role everyone sees fit.

• About yourself: I am overly prone to sarcasm and snark, can wind up missing even the most obvious social cues with decent regularity, and feign indifference. my enjoyment of DND comes from both RP and character creation, with a touch of way to much homebrew I'll probably never use on the side. and finally, if speaking on whatever random quote popped into your head was a profession, I'd never have to work a day in my life.
