Clueless new player is clueless

UPDATE: So im not as clueless as i was about two hours ago. Lol. Im reading guides and beginner tips and have a pretty basic grasp of what to do. I feel confident enough to jump into a fresh campaign at least.

I am brand new to TTRPGs in general. I have recently become interested in D&D through Crit Crab on YouTube and was looking for a group to show me how to play. I love story telling and role playing so this seems like my kind of thing. Very excited to get started! Please feel free to LMK if you might have the patience to show a newbie the ropes.
