Synopsis: Trapped in the mysterious Castle Amber, you find yourselves cut off from the world you know. The castle is fraught with peril. Members of the strange Amber Family, some insane, some merely dead, lurk around every corner. Somewhere in the castle is the key to your escape, but can you survive long enough to find it?
About the Game: This is a RARE opportunity to take part in a classic 1980’s module run by an experienced DM! I’ve spent weeks updating the classic “X2 Dungeon Module. Castle Amber” to the D&D 5E ruleset, and I have built all the maps in Tale Spire, (the awesome 3d Virtual TableTop software!) So journey with me as I bring my 43 years of DM experience to a campaign that will take your group on a classic adventure you will never forget!
About the Module: Castle Amber was published in 1981 by TSR and was written by Tom Moldvay It was the second published module for the Expert D&D set. Titled “Dungeon Module X2 Castle Amber (Chateau d’ Amberville).” And in 2004, it was ranked the 15th greatest Dungeons & Dragons adventure by Dungeon magazine. The module was inspired by the Averoigne stories of Clark Ashton Smith, Edgar Allan Poe's works, and Roger Zelazny's The Chronicles of Amber series. It was developed at TSR by Dave Cook, Allen Hammack, Kevin Hendryx, Harold Johnson, Tom Moldvay, and Jon Pickens, and edited by Harold Johnson, Edward Sollers, and Steve Winter.
