Hey all!
Looking for a couple of new players for a campaign in the homebrew setting that I'm getting the ball rolling on. I've run a couple of shorter campaigns, but it's my hope to get a long-running one going.
[Campaign Setting General Description] Modernish aetherpunk setting where magic is pretty common among the population; think industrial age 1800s when technology is becoming more commonplace amongst all social classes. The Gods of the world are long gone & the nations have spread across the lands. The world is locked in a tense cold war-eqsue standoff over the strongest of magical reserves. Monsters and beasts still roam the world, but being an adventurer is still a lucrative profession in the present day. What will you make of yourself in The World That Remains?
If you're interested in the lore of the world, I've written a comprehensive (hopefully) primer document to help you get an idea of what kind of world you would be playing in. Player Primer: [https://tinyurl.com/3un2d8er]
As far as combat goes, I'm planning on streaming Talespire on Discord so we can have a fun tactical side to combat. If you have access to Talespire, you're welcome to use it in tandem.
All levels of player experience are welcome. All I ask is that you respect your fellow players at the table, do your best to get involved with the roleplay and story, and have fun!
If you're interested, let me know here or shoot me a message on discord: lifeoferic
Include pronouns, type of character you'd like to play, and tell me a little about yourself as a player.
