I'm a player of 3 years who's been out of the game for a while, and would like to join a campaign to play in during my time at graduate school. I'm interested in a game that prioritizes roleplaying and engaging with the lore of a world, but also makes plenty of room for combat and battle. I'm particularly interested in adventuring within a published campaign setting, primarily Forgotten Realms or Exandria, since those are what introduced me to DnD and where I'm most confident I can make a fun and interesting character. I mainly like to play divine classes like Cleric or Paladin, and have no issue with being a support player, so if you think you might need a contemplative priest or kind-hearted holy knight in the party, please consider yours truly as a potential player :)
