Greetings adventures and welcome to Death House! I am hosting my favorite one shot Death House, set in the gothic horror themed realm of Ravenloft since Halloween is nearly upon us. I am hoping to find 5 or so brave players to rise to the challenges that this one shot has prepared for them. New players are welcome, but this is a harsher module. Be advised player death may happen. Also, the story is set in the gothic horror theme so topics like murder, abuse, spirits, and the like may be mentioned but not discussed with gross detail.

Details:

System: D&D 5E. Character lvl 1 with a standard array. If you are a new player and don't know what this means, fear not. I will assist you.

Experience Level: Any

Date and Time: Thursday Oct 26th, 7PM CST. It is expected to run about 4 hours but may be more or less.

Platform: Roll20 for maps and layout, D&D Beyond for character creation and combat. Syrinscape may also be used for music and sound effects but is not mandatory.

Voice/Video: Discord voice mandatory, video optional

Players Needed: We're looking for a group of around 5 adventurous players to join!

Roleplay Intensity: We encourage enthusiastic roleplay and a great sense of humor.

About the DM: Welcome to the Inn of the Laughing Hydra! My name is Larry. I'll be your DM and am also an aspiring content creator. My quest is to bring the joys of table-top gaming to as many people as possible. I will be hosting one-shots and campaigns with the goals of teaching as many people as possible how to play D&D. I also wish to create a fun and safe network of players where you can gather and play games as often or as little as you wish (the Inn of the Laughing Hydra). Hello! I'm Star and I literally just made a character today. I've Played DND once with a group of friends and am trying to get into it more. I'd love to be a part of this campaign if possible. I'm interested in this one shot! I've been playing a variety of d20 systems on and off since 2015, but around 2018-2019 I picked up some more regularity with how frequently I play.

Mostly, I've mainly done text-based games though discord only but I do have some experience with discord voice and VTTs (primarily roll20 and owlbear.rodeo although I've got experience with both foundry and fantasy grounds too). However, I do actually miss the in-person games I used to play when I was just getting started too!

I'm currently EST, but 8pm-12am should be fine, just would likely need to be offline and in bed shortly afterwards for work the following morning.
