Looking for 3 players to join us on Thursday evenings. As we look to replace attrition due to new work / school schedules. Party is level 4 and just completed a rescue mission of a high ranking member of the Gorge. The party consists of a Rogue, a Druid, a cleric, and an artificer. The game is text only and played through a custom discord server. Below is some basic information on the setting. The city of Solarium sits along the Sword Coast, Southeast of the former city of Eshpurta. At its founding it was nestled in along the Pine Fall River between the Shilmista forest and the snowflake mountains. Over 250 years ago a crystal was found within a meteor that had crash landed nearby. Commonly referred to as Seltsemite. Seltsemite has the unique property of amplifying magic of all natures, storing magic within it and the capabilities of opening extraplanar portals.
Slowly the frontier city of Solarium began expanding, flourishing in its Magi-Tech inventions. The first being the Everclean, a pitcher with a tiny shard of the crystal integrated into it. This shard held the spell "Purify Food and Drink" rendering all water within clean. Easy to produce nearly impossible to duplicate, the Everclean was in demand by all cities along the Sword Coast and still remains one of the most popular exports. As the city grew and the inventions became more varied, great prosperity fell on all its inhabitants.

Tenser's Carts - By applying crystal shards imbued with the famous Tenser's Floating Disc spell, carts within the city vary widely in size, have no wheels and can be easily drawn by a single horse.
Seltsemite Earpiece - Stores Comprehend Language to allow seemless communication across cultures.
Holos - Utilizing shards embedded with Silent Image a holographic image can be displayed on a loop.
Shard Wings - Embedded with Feather Fall these devices have industrial applications as well as recreational for adrenaline junkies.
Cloud Carts - Luxury transports for the aristocracy. Shards embedded with fly attached to carriages.
Expansion of Solarium
Overtime as the Shilmista forest was clear-cut the city has grown to engulf the surrounding villages. Breaking the city up into 5 distinct pentants and a central hub. The town has upgraded from an agriculture based settlement to an export based settlement.
Each Pentant acts in relative autonomy within the city state. Large buildings exist within the heart of each pentant and the Central hub. With slums between. With the lowborn commonly referred to as betweeners by the aristocrats. The socio-economic divide between the classes is repressive at best. Most betweeners are impoverished and malnourished with a high percentage of Essence burnouts. While the elites live in luxury and are almost always augmented
Socio-Economic State
Most blue collar crime was pushed deeper underground by the Martial Law the "Peace and Prosperity Act" established. The betweeners living with fear of the guard, and their oppression, while the elites and their corruption largely go unimpeded.
Mayor Kamonel did much to implement reform before his reelection and subsequent turn to dictatorship.
Camden Baern, youngest brother of Karick, has become a local hero. Fighting for the rights of the betweeners. He heads a resistance group called The Gorge, which is present in all pentants, The Gorge provides resources and protection to those the elites have forgotten. Rumors of Lord Karick's involvement are widely believed, even with the head of High House Baern adamantly denying them and condemning his brother publicly.
