Ship to ship combat happens. Sea monsters. The campaign players are mostly neutral aka not good or evil pirates. Discord voice mandatory with video optional. Roll 20 used for exploration and combat often. 21+ age requirement. The group is currently 1 DM and 4 players who want add a few more.
Hello I am intrigued by this game and would like to inquire about more information but I believe I would be interested in playing as I do love pirates.
I am a 36y/o trans woman from Boston (EST). A well-read and partially experienced player (played some 2nd edition and a few games more recently in 5e). My role-playing is improving, still getting comfortable with that style of play. Willing to commit to a long-term friendly and fun adventure. My discord name is tyradurden42
Preferred Name/Nickname: Adrian Pronouns: He/Him Age (or range): 31 Preferred Schedule: Tuesdays (Morning/Afternoon), Saturdays (Evening), and Sundays. Little about me: I have played a total of 10 homebrew campaigns with friends, but I've never played outside my friend group before. I'm hoping to learn a thing or two about what kind of characters players like to role-play, different ideas for strategies or unique ways of using skills/spells in-game, and potentially commit to a full campaign. --- [Player Description]
Inspiration for PC - Gag characters; I enjoy playing characters that are either underestimated almost immediately due to an obvious flaw, physical or otherwise, or is considered "odd" in the world of the campaign. (e.g: A Fire Genasi Pirate, a Halfing Giant Slayer, a Taxabi, etc.)
Preferred Role - DPS/Support; I like to hit fast and hit hard while being prepared to at least toss a potion of healing at anyone who needs it (Senzu Bean!)
Motivation to Play - Lore and Loot; I'd love a good homebrew with an vetted but flexible DM and I want to be able to be immersed in the world with my character. I also like cool stuff, preferably in the Arcane/Divine department. So if I could get a campaign with a captivating lore while occasionally getting some cool weapons/items, that'd keep me coming back every session.
Play Style - Bird, Bird, Buck; I like to try and smooth talk my way out of rolling initiative while my PC is under Level 5, so I usually try and set my Charisma pretty high just for such an occasion. Next is Dexterity, in case I need to "borrow" something, for a quest/narrative's sake. However, should diplomacy and sleight of hand fail me, and the party has exhausted all other options, I shall choose violence in the form of pocket sand and shin kicking.
