Dungon Masters Live Play Play-Along [Tuesdays - 6pm EST]

Not sure what to expect from the play along pack but I'll be running a session almost a full week later to give time to flesh it out and provide a full game session. We will likely end up going in directions the show doesn't but will stay in Ravenloft.

The game will be first person role playing, with good aligned heroes, limited/no out of character, and will be a touch on the grittier side. I have 40+ years of xp as a GM but this would be a great game for beginners.

You are welcome to use any official WotC class/subclass/species from 2024 that you own on D&D Beyond for your character using standard array.

We will be using video as it greatly enhances the roleplay.

Briefly tell me a little about your hero in 2-3 sentences: Asir Gurya had made a name for himself as an efficient assassin for hire, known for leaving no trace of his involvement in the killings he carried out. However, one contract asked him to cross a line that he couldn't bring himself to cross; he was asked to silence the witnesses to another mercenary's botched job, the wife and child of the original target. He couldn't bring himself to do it, and is now trying to run as far away as he can from that ruthless life, incomplete bounty still in his satchel.

What will your hero's alignment be?: Chaotic Neutral/Good

What is your discord?: tytorogue

ok, definitely not enough in the Play Along for a full game session but I have some other ideas. We will be in Ravenloft in Sithicus for the entire series and encountering some similar monsters but otherwise the story won't mirror the show.

Looks like we have a Soulknife Rogue, Champion Fighter, and Lore Bard. Could still use 1-3 more players!

What I'm here to play is a Hadozee Aberrant Mind Sorcerer, with a 1-level dip in fighting.

Simmi Soulstrike is the equivalent of a scrawny mafia guy who wears track suits and likes to run his mouth. Good thing he can scrap with some eleMENTAL magic to back it up. He has the entertainer's background since he's always had a way with crowds, both charismatically and psychically. Just wait till you hear his drumbeats...

What will your hero's alignment be?
Neutralish. He deals with the struggle of wanting to influence people to live out their dreams (Neutral Good), however he feels pushed to be more sinister due to the source of his Sorcerous powers (Neutral Evil).
