My friends want to start playing but it looks like I'll have to DM. 

Looking to start a game to get used to dnd before i start my own campaign.

For reference i've been a DM for more than 5 years and i have experience with FAILED campaigns due to my mistakes in not knowing how to deal with the players and also a campaign thats still going with multiple groups which so far i'm getting good reviews and even tho i'm asking for critisism i'm not really getting any.
