Curse of Strahd (LGBT, new player friendly, free campaign) Looking for players!

🦇 Absolutely no bigotry, homophobia, racism, etc.

🦇 We will likely meet on every Sunday from 7 PM-11 PM ET, US eastern time (Sorry for the initial Monday and Saturday times listed, I may also start running some campaigns on those days but I’ll need more time to organize).

🦇 Curse of Strahd is a fairly long campaign. If you stay for the whole campaign, it is likely to take more than 30 sessions. That’s over half a year if we meet once a week!

🦇You are allowed to miss games. In such a case, your character may be played by the DM or strategically removed from the plot temporarily. There is an expectation that you will be able to attend enough to be a part of the story and that you are ready to start on time.

🦇 We will use Roll20 as a virtual table top (VTT) and use discord voice chat to communicate. You will have to narrate your characters decisions using your voice.

🦇 Curse of Strahd is a horror campaign and has some dark and unsettling themes. We will go over a list of potential triggers and uncomfortable themes before the campaign begins. It is a dark horror campaign and there are many events in the game that may be disturbing, but the campaign can be altered based on player needs.

🦇 The setting takes place in Barovia, but your characters can be from anywhere in the D&D universe. Your character will be transported to Barovia by magical mists. I will help you make a character if you have not made one before. If you are making a character on your own, use Standard Array. You may roll for stats if the DM is present. We will use Beyond D&D to create and store characters.

🦇Barovian locals are mostly human or dusk elves. Be aware they may be surprised to see character who do not blend in.

🦇 I saw someone asking about age range of players. Anyone over 18 may join, but the DM is 35 and players who have joined so far range from 24-35.

Hiya, you don't seem to have an age range so I would only be comfortable playing in ages 16 to 26 (I am 19). I'd only be able to do Monday as I dm my own game on Saturday. If that works my discord is maple_fish

Im Trevor 29 i drive for ups and in my off time i like playing chess, Dungeons and Dragons, a few games on steam here and then. Im married with a daughter and another baby on the way.

id say im a some what experienced player, ive played up to lvl 9 currently in my main group im in and wouldnt mind helping out with newer players if needed. I actually like to pick my class last in most cases so i can fill in what the group might need to help more on our journey.

I love getting into character (always have a voice) and thinking of different ways to interact with the party and see what cool and fun things we can bring to the table.

Small update - We’re at 3/6 players, but I think the existing players want to push for Sundays. It will likely be at a 7 PM ET.
