More than five hundred years ago, several clans of dwarves and gnomes discovered a wondrous cavern with the power to create magical items. The clans agreed to share the riches of the cavern and named it Wave Echo Cave. For years, the clans prospered and a nearby human town named Phandalin prospered as well. Then disaster struck when orcs swept through the North and laid waste to all in their path. The clans fought to defend the cavern and in the ensuing battle much of the cavern was destroyed. Few survived the cave-ins and tremors, and the location of Wave Echo Cave was lost. For centuries, rumors of buried riches have attracted treasure seekers and opportunists to the area around Phandalin, but no one has ever succeeded in locating the lost mine. In recent years, people have resettled the area. Phandalin is now a rough-and-tumble frontier town.
Hello, my name is Ethereal. This will be a Lost Mine of Phandelver module. I will be following the module for the most part but will be adding in some homebrew elements. Characters will start at level 1 using either standard array or point buy for stats. Sessions will be Friday evenings and I'm planning to go 3-4 hours. We will be using dndbeyond for character sheets and AboveVTT for maps. Hoping to start the first week of January with session zero to discuss character creation and overall expectations for the campaign.

Hey there I'm interested in the Campaign but I would perfer to keep my Name and exact Age private but I am in my twenties.
My pronouns are He/Him with at least a year of experience in DnD playing with a small group. I enjoy the role playing aspect DnD, creating a character and playing and interacting with that character and I do enjoying some combat here and there. Yes I can most certainly make it to most if not all weekly games since I'm usually not busy on Fridays.
I would like to play Paladin but I'm also open to Playing Barbarian, Sorcerer or Warlock. As for the race Leonin, Minotaur or Dragonborn.
I don't have a solid concept yet.

D&D Experience: My intro to D&D was the classic red box, and I played regularly up to and including AD&D.
