About the adventure - The Curse of Strahd

Shadows, ancient secrets and perpetual twilight await you in the haunting realm of Barovia. A land being choked by the Count, Strahd von Zarovich. Any attempt to escape the land is futile, as the surrounding eternal fog blocks your path. Your only way to escape, is confront your fate and your worst nightmare...Join me and the fellow adventurers to forge alliances, confront supernatural terrors and decide the fate of the realm...together! This campaign is a warm and beginner friendly welcome to the Dungeons and Dragons 5e. The campaign will see us run The Curse of Strahd, a dark gothic horror story that is set in the haunting world of Barovia. Due to the nature of the setting, this will be ran with gothic horror in mind (please see content warnings for further details). Therefore, you can expect a dark, atmospheric game with danger and peril thrown in! My philosophy is that this is your story and the rules shouldn't hamper this experience. Therefore, I do use the rule of cool but you can expect a nice balance between the rule of cool and rules for this campaign!
