Game style: Mix of roleplay and combat, mostly roleplay.
About the Campaign: It would be a homebrewed world that's a mix of real life and typical fantasy. Stuff like cars, phones would exist, but would be more magical in nature then technological. Time would be closer to real world 50s-60s, so expect technology of around that period.
As can be presumed by the name, your characters will be a part of a Detective Agency in this world, where you'll be sent on different cases to solve. Because of this, I ask players to be willing to cooperate together and no evil alignment.
Before the campaign, I'd like to have 1 interview with players 1 on 1 and then a session 0 with all the chosen players.
Each player will be talked to to make sure there are set limits and boundaries which will not be crossed.
It will use Discord for voice and Roll20 for everything else.
About time: I am planning to have sessions run at least 2 hours and if possible up to 4.
The length as well as time the games will be held at are not final and will be adjusted to accommodate the players who join.
About DM : I am an experienced DM of 4 years making a new campaign open for new players to join. I'll be happy to teach and explain anything about Dnd. I am happy to accommodate any type of player, as long as they are not disruptive and are not causing issues for me or any other players.
I tend to do more RP then Combat, so expect about a 60/40 split, if not 70/30.
About cost: I ask for 8 USD payment at least 24 hour before the session. Refund will be made with reasonable situations as well as refunded at the end of session if you're not willing to continue.
About character creation: It will be rolled stats with a minimum of 75. I allow homebrew and UA, but I have to check it beforehand. Since this campaign is targeted more to new players, I will go over house rules at later time. It will start at lvl 1 and will go for as long as other players are having fun.
