New Player LFG First Time Playing With A Character That Was Made For Me

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: I'm fine with online or face-to-face
Experience: I'm new but have been in Discord calls listening to some old friends play 
Location/Timezone: I am in Houston, Texas, Central Standard Time
Availability: I am free every day after 6:30 pm (CST), unavailable on Saturdays, but free most nights on Sundays 
Preferred role: I wanna be a player 

I'm looking for either a roleplay-based game or something casual, I do have a premade character one of my friends made and she let me have her, she's a human Cleric. I don't mind joining in the middle of a campaign as long as you don't mind me struggling a bit to get a hold of the rules and how to play. I am very open to meeting face-to-face for anything in my area and I am also good for online I have a Discord and a Mic so I can do that as well.
