Our current West Marches-inspired server started up in late 2018 with a steady group of 20-25 players, 6 DMs, several games a week. We’ve wrapped up our fourth campaign and are starting a new one next week—so it’s a perfect time for some new players to join up.
Campaign Premise: You were a prisoner aboard a ship headed towards a penal colony in a faraway land, crowded amongst others for crimes you may or may not have committed. After a successful breakout, the ship suffered too much damage to continue and has made landfall, and now everyone must band together to build a new home and survive this harsh land full of dark history and savage monsters.
Applications close January 15th. We will review them and reply by the 17th. - Time: Games run approximately 4-6 hours, we’re a North American group, and play mostly during the evenings. The format supports drop-in play, so you don’t need to commit to playing every week.
- Levels: 2-6 based on the E6 concept, with smaller forms of progression at level cap (ASI’s, Feats, etc.) Milestone leveling. Somewhat steep learning curve, but the community is friendly and happy to help.
- Gameplay: West Marches inspired. Sessions are ran on Roll20 and tend to be more combat/exploration focused, with __very__ active text RP in the discord server during downtime.
- Edition: 5e
- Homebrew: A lot. Homebrew feats, races, subclasses, and progression systems.
Hello, I'm very interested! I played 1e and 2e years ago. Just recently got back into D&D over the past summer and have played in four 5e campaigns. So, all that to say, I know enough to play but sometimes still have questions (especially since I try to play different class/subclasses just for the experience). I'm a team player and not really into power gaming, min-max or creating OP characters. I find that building characters against "type" and with flaws/challenges makes for a more satisfying journey. I'll definitely fill out the form! - Steven (Enigma_Rising).
We appreciate it! And we've got a very supportive community who are more than happy to help out with any questions you might have (especially as we have a large amount of our own homebrew content baked into it!) Our group of DMs meet on Tuesdays, we'll review and get back to you by next Wednesday!
