In a frontier star system lies Driri 39F3, a planet that was supposed to be a haven now stands as a half-finished terraformed marble, you find yourself abruptly awakened from cryosleep. The air is breathable, thanks to the United Federation's hasty terraforming efforts, but the result is far from the lush landscapes of Earth. Instead, it's a minimalist attempt at creating a habitable environment, the oceans lack tides and the forests are silent.

Contrary to promised colonists, the initial inhabitants were not pioneers seeking a new life but rather a motley crew of criminals and debt-ridden individuals dumped onto the planet by the United Federation. This has given rise to a chaotic and self-contained war economy. Bounty hunters and PMCs from core worlds descend upon the planet to hunt down outlaws for sport or payment, leaving behind a trail of discarded weapons and gear for the local "residents" to scavenge and utilize.

The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of two distinct continents, with the western one considered relatively "safe" due to the presence of various factions. The eastern continent on the other hand bears scattered sleeper ships and rumored anomalies. The United Federation, seemingly preoccupied with military expenditures and revelries, maintains a heavily fortified capital in the east, surrounded by artillery and machine gun turrets capable of reducing a person into meat based Swiss cheese.

As you emerge from suspended animation you must remember that survival depends on alliances and skills. Take on roles ranging from street urchin to mercenary, pirate gang leader to scavenger, trans-humanist to self-made super-soldier, or any other persona you can envision. With 19 diverse classes and upgraded variations for almost existing classes, each boasting four unique abilities tied to an energy system that is derived from six attributes and an option to subclass, offering two additional abilities from any class allowing for some horrendously powerful builds or wacky shenanigans.

On Driri ammunition is a valuable commodity and there are 22 distinct ammo types alongside 49 premade weapons to find or purchase. There are also eight races, cover mechanics, and a bounty system for crimes. So Join or defy the three main factions and align with six organizations and corporations to shape the fate of the planet. A merit point system also ensures that you the player has something left should your character reach deaths door, the same merit system can also be used to purchase items and upgrade attributes. Merits are also earned in session via doing certain actions e.g. beating a boss or completing a major story quest.

An interstellar map and a couple of larger interstellar factions are present in case you decide to leave Diri.
