Just F.Y.I, if you're happy DM'ing you're going to find players much faster if you mention you'll DM in the title

There are a lot more players than DMs, so it might be on you to start a group as a DM, advertising your first campaign.

(there are rarely groups without DM's, and rarely DM's without groups)

but if you'd rather be a player, then good luck, and I'd suggest applying for campaigns on as many forums as you can.

(I know from experience, i'm  active in 3 different forums and have never played a game of D&D)
