I am a newer DM with a couple campaigns under my belt. Looking to run Pathfinder Rise of the Runelords Level 1 to as far as you want to play.......looking for 4 more player Here is the basic run down:
Pathfinder Rise of Runelords campain ( adult themed 18+ )
Roll20 useage
Discord useage
Level 1 - ?
No evil PC's
Nights TBD ( PST locally )
webcam recommended
cam users to have a respectable appearance while live
interested players email sydwysgaming@gmail.com
include name, experience, location, time zone, best gaming days and times.
Experienced players preferred but I will take all levels of experience. I will be using Roll20 and Discord. If you don't know about or have either please look into them. If webcam/video available that would be preferred as well. I will be streaming to twitch when we play. I would like cam using players to be clean and neat. You don't have to be dressed in costume or character, but I do want our stream to look great and get views. I will be video interviewing with players with cams who wish to be on live twitch. Streamers should use green screens, a background, or simply clean and tidy room. The goal is the have LOTS of fun and look good doing it. I want good laughs
I will be going over the campaign details again soon and prepping all gaming items i will be using. Players details will be given out after email responses. Please email sydwysgaming@gmail.com if you would like to join. Serious inquiries please. I will converse with all applicants and then players who I feel will be a good addition to the group will be given access to my Discord. I apologize if this is too much for some. My goal is to run a dedicated group with some flexibility on determined nights in the PM ( I am local to Vancouver, WA PST ). There are other groups on twitch and YouTube and they aren't as fun and interesting enough to bring new players to DND. My goal is to run a group that can do that.
I am looking into this since i have both sets of book avaiable and think i can incorporate players that have 5E with the Pathfinder Core Rulebook and ROR setting. I will post when i determine my choice of action.
This is sparking some interest. I've just come out of another online Pathfinder group that flaked because the DM had IRL issues to deal with. I'm very well versed in 3.5e/PF content, been playing D&D for just over a year, and can access virtually any handbook of both editions online. I live in New Zealand, but I'm willing to adapt to fit for the times that are chosen for game sessions. All I'll need to do for preparation is read up a little on the Rise of the Runelords campaign setting... and find myself a desk that I can use for a rudimentary setup.
OK Rambolambo i got you in. Ive looked into 5e and Pathfinder being run and they mix easily not a lot of extra work for me. I have pdf's for anyone that needs them. Once i get the group all together i will put it to a vote of what sources we use. I own the Pathfinder books so and reading the 5e stuff right now. So far i have 2 highly interested as of today. Lets keep the thread alive. Reme, ber this is open to all levels of players and newer players rookie mistakes help keep things interesting and fun. Ill check this thread again soon. Please also check in on my email listed above. thanks much.
I have access to a pretty decent digital Pathfinder character sheet app if people don't want to use the 5e one found here on D&D Beyond. I know my character will be done entirely PF, as none of the info for the race and class I want can be found here.
It auto-calculates your ability score modifiers for most sections, and also auto-completes data input for most spells and SLAs too. But things like skill points, feats, class and racial abilities, traits and some other data still needs to be manually entered. All in all I personally find it to be pretty user friendly.
And to be honest... I actually have a character all ready, waiting in the wings. It's a spare I've been tinkering with that I was planning to use for a different campaign group, this just posed a better opportunity for me.
My twitch is adult 18+ so I have to let members know we do allow colorful language, joke and dark humor. Im familiarizing myself with their rules so I don't get us banned of course but I don't want some poor q6 year old joining and then his parents hear something bad on mic. Hope that clears up your question.

So who's in?
Just to be clear, are you running a Pathfinder Module in the Pathfinder system or are you just using the module to run a D&D 5e adventure?

I will be leaving the player source book up to the players. It can be one or the other or both. They do not differ enough for me to stress over it.
Can you elaborate on what makes it adult themed? Is it all the crazy violence of the module?
