Ellolynde's first ruler had hopes and dreams beyond anything he imagined when he first landed here. When Nuthir arrived, Ellolynde was nothing but a landscape decimated by a war led by disciples of the goddess Auril centuries before. Nuthir brought with him an era of peace as he established the Empire of Ellolynde. Only to have it almost torn apart by his descendant, Maiumil. Ruthless and misguided, he turned to Auril in his youth, slowly amassing an undead army below the Jako Mountains. Maiumil unleashed his army upon Ellolynde on the morning of his coronation, releasing an unrelenting attack on the empire that raged for weeks. Now his daughter has taken the throne, and Empress Asifya is working tirelessly to restore peace to Ellolynde. She created the Silk Enclave and extended the Swords of the Empire as branches of her guard and army to take care of the aftershocks of her father's reign, desperate to restore Nuthir's dream. Will you answer the Empress’s call?

So am I correct in thinking this is a discord server that intends to host multiple concurrent campaigns all set in the same world during the same time period? Or have I completely misinterpreted this?
Yes and no; It is one world setting where everything is happening at the same time/period in the story; where DMs host individual play-by-post one-shot-esque encounters.
It's a dynamic story that has plans moving forward, but player actions can change that story!
It's an open-world, meaning players can roleplay in a variety of channels while they are not in an encounter, and they will gain XP based on their RP activity. We also offer downtime actions/automated encounters to gain xp and gold.
Absolutely! It's a low commitment server, you get to play on your schedule as much/as little as you'd like! We have out of character chats for when you just want to hang out.
