general setting and backstory....
The world was peaceful for a while but 300 years ago that changed when a portal opened up. Out of the portal came goblins, orcs, and monsters of all kinds. The weapons the humans had at that time did no damage to these monsters, and being unable to protect themselves humans were on the brink of extinction. It was then that gods came through the portal and seeing all the destruction they took pity on the people granting them a way to fight back giving them the ability to select a class and level up. In a few years other races started to spring up based on region and gods that were followed. Over time things quieted down and a new normal rose with guilds and monsters. In recent months however there has been a significant rise in the population of low level monsters. Will this be the second fall of humanity or will humanity overcome its differences and fight back against these forces
