As the title says, looking for a player or two for a game I'll be running on sundays most likely 2pm CST. The game will start as a module of Wild Beyond the Witchlight from a Wildemount starting point. After Witchlight is when the story will go off the rails into my own story. What I am looking for is chill players that are not rule lawyers and prefer Roleplay over number crunching (there will still be dice and mechanics, I just might bend rules now and then for story elements.)
I already have 3 players and they are dear friends so I will vet people before letting them in. We are LGBTQIA friendly, pronoun friendly and basically anything that a decent human being should be friendly about. If that isn't your cup of tea obviously not for you and I wish you the best. Also experience is not an issue as long as you are patient with yourself and other players and willing to learn. I will obviously help new players. Not paid games, but may ask for donations for DndBeyond resources, still debating that one.
I can read up on the lore of the setting, but I haven't read it yet. I am new to DnD and I have only played one campaign which was a 6 month long DnD campaign set in Faerun but was an original story using Foundry VTT, Discord, and DnD Beyond.
My character was a Pallid Elf Monk/Druid courtier with a cool backstory that I can do into in messaging. It was my first DnD character who I'd love to do again if possible or a spin on it.
Send me a message if you're interested in considering me. I have some character ideas. I love fantasy and role-playing games. Also, 2pm CST Sundays works fine for me
Hi I'm interested in joining this campaign. I'm a fairly new player, having only played a few sessions with some friends, but I've been interested in playing DnD for a while now. If you still have a spot open lmk either here or on discord @ kor2319
Oooooo! Pick me, pick me! Discord is Kenderthulu#5564.
Exp player in it for the roleplay and friendship. Love to cut back and have a good time. Usually a GM so looking to stretch my legs as a player again. Here is my concept.
Name: Oros Shellwise
Oros Shellwise was born in the secluded coastal village of Shellshore, a hidden paradise where the azure waves kissed the golden sands and ancient coral reefs teemed with vibrant marine life. Shellshore, known for its tranquility and harmony with nature, was a haven for the peaceful Tortle race. Here, the tortles lived in balance with the world, valuing wisdom, nature, and serenity above all else. From a young age, Oros showed an unusual affinity for the spiritual and the divine. While other tortle children played and explored, Oros would sit for hours by the ocean, listening to the whispers of the waves and communing with the spirits of the sea. His gentle nature and profound insights earned him the nickname "Shellwise" among his peers.
Oros was mentored by Elder Turtu, the village's venerable cleric, who recognized the young tortle's potential. Under Turtu's guidance, Oros learned the ways of healing, prayer, and meditation. He studied the sacred texts, practiced the rites, and honed his connection with the divine. The teachings of peace, compassion, and the sanctity of all life became the core of his being.
Oros's life took a dramatic turn when a violent storm ravaged Shellshore. Amidst the chaos, a band of marauding pirates took advantage of the situation, raiding the village and leaving destruction in their wake. Despite the loss and suffering, Oros refused to take up arms against the invaders. Instead, he focused on healing the wounded and comforting the grieving, embodying the principles of nonviolence he held dear. This event solidified Oros's belief in pacifism. He vowed never to harm another being and to dedicate his life to spreading peace and healing. He chose to wield his divine magic not as a weapon, but as a tool for restoration and protection.
I would be interested in gaming with your group. I live in a remote area in Colorado, so finding in-person games has been difficult. I have played all editions of D&D, but I am least experienced with 5th edition. I'd like to gain more experience with 5e so that I can eventually GM a game locally. I am passionate about Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (I just finished my EDI certification through Cornell University), so I hope you'll all find me friendly and inclusive. And, I can be free on Sunday afternoons at 2PM CST/1PM MST. I have played all the basic classes, so I'm willing to fill in any gaps. I am a 57 year old, cis-het, polyamorous female and I started playing D&D in 1978.
Feel free to ask me any questions. I'm pretty open.
Thank you,
"Hafwen"
