Exandria: Wildemount Awaits Welcome to Wildemount. The year is 865 PD, or Post-Divergence. There is a fragile peace following the War of Ash and Light 30 years prior. The Kryn Dynasty and the Dwendalian Empire have opened their roads through the Ashkeeper Peaks as a testament to their path to understanding one another. While the newly crowned King Eidys Dwendal advocates this new policy, many in the Empire are still untrusting of those who come from Xhorhas and criticize his rule.
In the Menagerie Coast, the might of the Clovis Concord is challenged by the Iron Authority, whose ships plunder merchant vessels sailing to the continent of Tal'Dorei. Their skirmishes have allowed the pirates of Darktow Isle to prosper in these dangerous times, paid handsomely to hoist either flag as privateers.
In the southern regions of Xhorhas, tensions between the nomadic peoples continue to rise as a plague has decimated the Iothia Moorlands and tribes are driven from their ancestral homes. Whispers among fearful communities blame the Luxon and beg for their banished gods to save them. Pilgrims of the Luxon have been murdered by fanatics and the Kryn Dynasty has mobilized a large force to patrol the length of the Seepfeed River.
Your destiny awaits in Wildemount.
Wildemount Awaits is a long homebrew campaign set in the near future of Exandria. Your characters will begin at level 3 for a short adventure in the Greying Wildlands before returning to the Dwendalian Empire. From there, your goals and character ties will drive the campaign forward.
This campaign will take place in 865 PD, or Post-Divergence, 30 years following the events of campaign 2 of Critical Role. I will work closely with you during character creation to understand your character concepts and identities, along with your backstories to better create content that engages them.
Experience: Beginner-friendly, veterans welcome. Slots Available: Looking for 5 players. Price: $15 USD/session System Used: D&D 5e Style: Discord for voice, FoundryVTT for battlemaps, dice, and sheets. Session Duration: 3-4 hour sessions w/ a break if needed. Schedule: Weekly, currently available Mon-Fri, can do afternoon or evenings EST Requirements: Have a decent microphone and stable internet connection.
About Me: I am a GM who values a strong narrative and enjoys collaborative storytelling. I want to create an environment where your characters experience growth and have opportunities to display their ideals and flaws. Role-play is important to me, so I am very passionate about filling the world you inhabit with realistic NPCs and meaningful dialogue. At my table, I generally run neutral/good aligned campaigns with a grounded theme. I don't particularly enjoy creating meme-y content or joke characters, and request the same from my players. No tolerance for any type of prejudice or hate. LGBT+ friendly space.
