Me and my friends are looking for two people to join us as we start a Dungeons and Dragons based YouTube channel. The concept of the channel is that it will take D&D and turn it on its head, creating challenges for the players and/or making it more competitive. Each video will consist of a one-shot adventure where there is some kind of twist to how the game is played, it won't just be a normal D&D game.
We will be using Roll 20 to run the games. Because each person participating will be recording from their own location, it is necessary that you would have the means of doing so and sharing your recordings with the editor.
We will have an audition at a TBD date for anybody interested in joining (Timezone: CDT). The audition will consist of an online one-shot adventure played with other people auditioning. The purpose of the audition is to discern your on camera presence, chemistry with others, and playstyle to see how well of a fit you are for the channel. The audition will not be recorded, but it would be best to act as though it were.
Character Creation Info
Characters for the one-shot will be level 5, and limited to what can be found in The Player's Handbook, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Monsters of the Multiverse. Point-By system for Stats and 500gp for items and equipment
I am interested, but I have a few questions. How often are you planning to have the sessions? Weekly? Or once a month? More than once a week? And, is there a way to see how the group that is already established plays? Or how the DM runs their games?
The scheduling is a bit up in the air, but I am hoping for once a week. As for how the group plays, that will be apparent during the audition one-shot.

Applied. Been looking for an online Youtube or live play game for a while now.
