I moved to Southern, DE (Millsboro area) a few months ago and I am trying to find people for an Offline (yes actual face-to-face) game. I just rediscovered D&D after a very long break. I use to play all the time when I was younger. My friends just started a monthly (ish) 5e group in PA. I play a Dragonborn Pally and really enjoying playing again.
I am trying to start a local game. I have everything we need to get started and I will DM. This will be a home-brew game friendly to beginners, never played before, mature. On the casual side but will have a regular game schedule. I can play most week nights and will host. We will start at level 1 and use the milestone system.
*First in-person meeting will be at a neutral site, talk about the game, etc and see how it goes.
So if you are in the Southern, DE area or close enough and want to play let me know. Also, feel free to use this thread for other Delaware groups.
Hey there. I live in Milton. Do you have a group together? I am DMing for my personal group every other week but would really like some play time if you have found something.

Ones are righteous. And one day, we just might believe it.
Not yet. I am still looking to do so. Unfortunately, I haven't had much success yet. Other than my sister and some neighbors I don't know too many people, just moved here full time a few months ago. I'm still at it, just taking a bit longer than I hoped.
I just played Saturday with my buddies in PA. Love playing but it's a 2 hour drive for me, which is OK since we play about every 4-5 weeks.
I understand about DM-ing. It's nice to take a break from it and run a PC. How long have you been playing with your current group?
We have been together for about three years. D&D, Star Wars Saga, WOD, some homebrews the guys are working on. I will keep my ears open to see if anyone in the area has room. However, other than a Tuesday night group at Born to Game in Woodside, I am not aware of anyone. A couple years ago I stumbled on a small group in Long Neck. I decided to try and look them up a few months ago but they disappeared form the interwebs AFAIK. They were a small comic shop in Long Neck. I will keep my ear to the ground for you.

Just another bump. Do you have a group yet? Or any other interest? Myself and a friend are looking to find a group where we can play. Let me know. Roll on.

I am also fairly new to Millsboro and Southern Delaware. Haven't played DnD for many years, but played The World of Darkness up until about 5 years ago. I would need a serious refresher, but would love to get together once a week or every other week to game. If there is still interest, please let me know and we can meet up and discuss.
Wanted to bump this one. I just moved to Long Neck and would love to play DnD again. I understand offline may be difficult now, but after this passes I’d be interested!
Keeping this going. Still not ready for in person but that is the plan eventually. So until then let's talk D&D!
Group details:
Hoping for a 4-5 PCs group but will start with 2-3 PCs to get things going. The campaign is set in the Sword Coast, Neverwinter City. It can take us from level 1 to 17-ish if we want.
We will stay within the listed books for characters: PHB, XGTE, Volo's, EGTW, and releasing this November -Tasha's Cauldron of Everything because apparently Xanathar's Guide to Everything missed a few things. See initial post for more detail. Again, this will be an in person group.
Im in maryland but i dont feel comfortable doing a local in-person yet... if you guys want to start with online once things are a little less crazy we could move to local but i still think it's too soon for me
if you are looking of extra players still id be down for a weekly online to start for a bit but i know thats not the title of the post - just kinda close to delaware : )
Not in Delmarva but have ties to Salisbury. Have you given any thought to online? Might be easier to round up people. I hope your group gets going. Hang in there.
Thanks for the replies. As far as online I am going to stick with the in person group. I am in an online group already with RL friends from PA. We switched our monthly in person game in PA to online so we can continue playing.
If we start the new group online with the intent of switching to in person we will lose the people who are not able to travel or attend. I will not continue to do both. also, I do not want to bail on anyone in the middle of a campaign.
The intent of this thread was to find people in Southern, DE to meet up in person and play. Unfortunately the pandemic hit and well you know. However, if others find this post and use it to form/meet people to play online for it! It's all good...

Right now I am driving up to Felton every other Thursday. It's going well so far.
I'm still open to starting something. more local.
