My name is Nate, and I'm a long-time DM getting ready to launch a brand new campaign. It is written to run from level 2 to level 20+ (some additional homebrew progression), so expect a long-term commitment! The game is slated to run Monday nights, from 6pm to 9:30pm CST, every other week (I work shifts, so I can't play weekly). I have three players already, but I'm looking to build a group of five to seven max players. We will play online via either Roll20 or Foundry VTT.
Adventure Awaits! is written to be a light-hearted and fun campaign that captures the feelings of companionship, courage and adventure. The story is a love letter to my favorite JRPGs as a kid, and so the biggest theme is that of overcoming evil by the power of friendship! The campaign has a partially complete WorldAnvil with much of the core information. Check out https://www.worldanvil.com/w/galadria-saberlin/a/adventure-awaits---overview-article for a brief introduction to the setting and basic information.

Tell me about yourself:
What is the single most important trait that a player can bring to the table (Example - Imagination, Charisma, Consistency, Punctuality, Flexibility, Positivity, Wit, etc.)?
Experience with 5e/TTRPGs/Roleplaying: Been a dm/player for 5 years I have a lot of experience with DnD 5e. Both dming and being a player as I've been in a few medium length campaigns and a lot of one shots. And I have a ton of experience with roll20 and dnd Beyond.
Tell me about yourself: Well I've loved fantasy for as long I can remember watching shows and reading books about magic and nature. I love speculative biology and creating my own magic systems/worlds. And ever since I've started playing dnd I always wanted to be in a long-term campaign like the dnd podcast I love so much (ie dungeons and daddy's/ not another dnd podcast)
What is the single most important trait that a player can bring to the table (Example - Imagination, Charisma, Consistency, Punctuality, Flexibility, Positivity, Wit, etc.)?
Personal I think I bring a lot of knowledge and flexibility to the game. I like to power build while I don't make my level one character do a million damage I am usually a bit more aggressive and strategic. Along with the fact I like playing spell casters with more of support ideology. I think I would bring a flexible character that can help fix problems and consistently help out others instead of taking the spot light.
Experience with 5e/TTRPGs/Roleplaying: I have 5 years of 5e experience, 4 as a DM for a homebrew campaign and 1 as a player, a lot of experience with D&D beyond and very little with Roll 20 and VTT but very excited to learn.
Tell me about yourself: I was a massive nerd growing up. I loved anything fantasy and was so well known by my middle and high school librarians that they let me trial books before they got put on shelves. I’ve been DMing for my local friends for the last 4 years and have been debating looking for an online group and this one looks like a good time. I am in the EST time zone but would still love to join!
What is the single most important trait that a player can bring to the table (Example - Imagination, Charisma, Consistency, Punctuality, Flexibility, Positivity, Wit, etc.)?
I think that Imagination, Flexibility, and game knowledge are what I think are really critical because each of these really allow for the game to run smooth, or I should say smoother. Being able to see and understand what’s being described and seeing how to use your tools to deal with what is going on and then the ability to adapt when that goes wrong and take the bad rolls as they come and adapt are really essential to at least how I play D&D. Maybe that’s why I prefer to fill holes in a party than try to force something and step on toes.
I'm a experienced D&D player with roughly 8-9 years of experience mostly as the DM. I am looking for a chill group to roleplay with. I’m a understanding player who will work with my DM to make a interesting and fun character. I’m dedicated and will be punctual and communicative. I’m very used to home brew content as I use it in my campaigns I’m also willing to do a interview with you so you can get a grasp on what kind of person/player I am

Tell me about yourself: I love fantasy and adventure books, tv shows, movies, and anime. I currently play in a longer term campaign that has been going on for 6 months now and DM for a short term campaign.I also have been a little bit of a gym nut recently which I hope lasts.
What is the single most important trait that a player can bring to the table (Example - Imagination, Charisma, Consistency, Punctuality, Flexibility, Positivity, Wit, etc.)? : The most important thing someone can bring to the table is communication, positivity, and character mindset. Communication is important because without it a DND group is destined to fail due to schedule conflicts and whatnot. Positivity is important because nobody has a debbie downer (unless it is their character personality) we all want to play pretend and have a good time. Character mindset is also important because we want to know what your character would do in the moment we don't want to know what the best choice is. Meta-gaming is good and all but it has a time and place and that is not what is important in a dnd game.
