Are you ready to face your darkest fears and embark on an epic quest? We're diving into Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk, a D&D 5E campaign filled with psychological horror and the creeping madness of a new god. Her influence spreads, turning friends into foes and twisting reality itself.
Campaign Highlights
- Psychological Horror: Navigate through a world where sanity is fragile.
- Sanity Mechanics: Optional rules to enhance the horror experience.
- Engaging Combat: Face off against twisted creatures and cunning traps designed to test your limits.
Requirements:
- Dedication to a weekly game (Fridays 9 AM - 1 PM CST).
- Willingness to engage deeply with the story and characters.
- Comfortable with themes of horror and madness.
About Me:
I am a 25-year-old man who goes by Gray, and have over 6 years of experience as a Game Master, mainly in D&D 5e, but I also dabble in other systems. I have GM'd 7 campaigns, 9 adventures, and a one-shot.
Regarding my style, I adhere to the rules and enjoy putting pressure on parties. One of my favorite things to see is a player using resources, as it defines their character and build. I like to focus the spotlight on everyone in the party, and if there's no chance or opportunity for a player to take the spotlight, I make up for it in the following session.
As a GM, I imagine and express each session like a cinematic movie, and I encourage my players to express what they see during dramatic moments.
How to Join: We are recruiting 7 players over the next 2 weeks through a quick survey. First read the House Rules, then tell us about your experience, your character ideas, and why you want to join this harrowing adventure.
