Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: New Location/Timezone: USA / CST Schedule: Sundays @ 6pm weekly, starting may 19. Roles sought: Players (2) Game style: Casual READ RULE ZERO google it, please google it i beg you. ADULTS ONLY
The campaign is a modified version of Storm Kings Thunder which adds many different official modules and sources to expand the campaign to take us from Levels 1-20! I don't want to spoil too much but the storm kings thunder part is only half of the main campaign, which will take us from level 1-10. How we get to level 20 I will be keeping a secret for now :D.
I've been DMing for about a year now and would like to attempt my first epic level adventure, my style leans into social interactions but there is absolutely no shortage of situations that can devolve into battle >:) This campaign will take you all over faerun and more! But be warned, almost every written encounter is DEADLY by design, meaning TPKs are always possible. You won't be able to hack and slash through everything... most likely. I also very much care about game balance, so you will most likely not be able to try any broken combos that guarantee kill everything in one go - So don't plan your build completely around anything like that. Speaking of Character Builds, character creation will be done at the table in a hybrid Session 0 Session 1 sort of thing. This is so the entire party in present and communicating with one another which will foster a more natural party dynamic and relationship. Also, please make them adventurers that would like to do adventure. Something different is also fine as long as they want to participate in the game XD.

How familiar are you with TTRPGs? What are your favorite games? Favorite Shows and Movies? Playstyle and character concept? Who is your favorite South Park Character?
I am a new player who's been part of two oneshots looking to get into DnD over the summer and maybe beyond. My favorite games are first-person shooters with Titanfall 2 taking my top spot. My favorite tv show would have to be Avatar the Last Airbender, but Solo Leveling seems to have some potential. I prefer a bruiser-type character who can get up close and be able to deal a good amount of damage while tanking a decent amount for the team. I have never watched South Park and doesn't seem like my kind of show.
I have some minor scheduling concerns but I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring anyway.
How familiar are you with TTRPGs? Played and DMed 3.5 and 4e from 2008-2017, played a few sessions of Pathfinder and Star Wars d20 Saga Edition, playing 5e on and off since 2022.
What are your favorite games? Board or Video? Too many to fully list but my top 3 fot each are Disney Villainous, Marvel United, and Root for the former; World of Warcraft, Kingdom Hearts, and Pokémon for the latter.
Favorite Shows and Movies? Again too many to list, but top 3 shows are Batman: The Animated Series, Animaniacs, and Gravity Falls; movies are The Phantom Menace, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Spider-Man (2002)
Playstyle and character concept? I have dozens of character concepts, and I like to fill niches the rest of the party might not cover. That said, I primarily prefer spellcasters and I stick with bestial/monstrous races exclusively.
Who is your favorite South Park Character? I haven't watched since 2016, and an unfortunate amount of it has aged like buttermilk, but I still have nostalgia for it and Kenny was always my favorite.
How familiar are you with TTRPGs?: Been playing on an off for a long long time (I'm Old, 51)
What are your favorite games: I love just about anything by Bethesda, and D&D 5e. Solasta and BG3 Favorite Shows and Movies: I love Action adventure with a strong Kong-fu / Samurai vibe. Shogun is a recent example Playstyle and character concept?: I had a phase where all I played were Monks, but have some Cleric's and Wizards in my stable. I'm looking to play a chilled Paladin / warlock this time around if it fits the table. Who is your favorite South Park Character? Don't realy have one, but I love to hate Cartman "Respect my Athoritah" :)
How familiar are you with TTRPGs? Played 5e for years What are your favorite games? Favourite games, settlers of catan, monopoly, fallout4, skyrim, rocket league, mine craft and Pubg are a few Favorite Shows and Movies? Count of Monte Cristo is a favourite of mine. Love comedies and action, anime. the office, that 70's show. Playstyle and character concept? Usually play a tank, paladin, monk, Cleric but want to try a rogue but open to playing most things. Who is your favorite South Park Character? Eric as my name is Eric too or Terrance and Philip as I am Canadian.
Answer the questions above and I will direct message you with my discord to move on to the in-call interview - basically asking generally the same questions just to get a vibe check :)

How familiar are you with TTRPGs? I'm 33 and in highschool I played 3.5 and I got back into dnd 5e during the start of the pandemic and been playing since then. BG3, Pathfinder WOTR, Digimon Cyber Sleuth/Hacker's Memory, Bayonetta (all the games), Super Smash Bros, SWOTR Favorite Shows and Movies? Oh gosh so many to list. Playstyle and character concept? I'm incredibly flexible but I tend to go for caster or healer classes. My fav characters I've played were a half high elf fathomless warlock, A Kalashtar Knowledge Cleric, Eladrin storm sorcerer, and a half drow eldritch fighter/hexblade Who is your favorite South Park Character?
