Hi folks, I'm a semi-experienced 5e player (close to 2 years of regular weekly play) looking for a slightly more serious group in addition to the current game I'm playing in. I'd prefer to play with folks of a similar age (25-35), and am open to paid sessions of reasonable cost if it results in a game with fully engaged players / DM. I would prefer an ongoing long-term campaign as I enjoy developing characters and storytelling over time, but am also open to shorter adventures. 

About me as a player: I enjoy writing and playing characters first and foremost, and am definitely not a 'meta' player when it comes to combat or skills. I like to get immersed in the experience, and thus my focus will be fully on the game and being in-character whilst in session. I prefer light, high fantasy, escapism type adventures rather than doom and gloom, though I'm not averse to emotional moments and the odd bit of horror - more Lord of the Rings or the recent DnD movie than Game of Thrones, let's say. In terms of scheduling, I am regularly available on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings after work, and will always let people know in advance if I am unable to make a session.
