Hello wonderful people,

I am looking for one more player for a new and original campaign featuring an open world set in the Forgotten Realms.  My games are dedicated to character development, exploration, and roleplay.  The setting is in the Forgotten Realms and will take the players from level 1 to 20 as they adventure all over Faerûn (and beyond!).  Sessions are scheduled for Tuesday 8PM Eastern and run about 4 hours.

I am a DM with 19 years of D&D experience with 10 of them behind the screen running multiple long term (1-20) campaigns.  I include a healthy mix of roleplay, puzzles, discovery, and combat.  I also include a tremendous amount of awesome content from some of the most creative content creators on the planet to add further richness to our story.

The focus of my games is immersive storytelling, and as such a significant amount of the campaign is focused on what the players want to explore, whether it is the rich lore of the setting of the Forgotten Realms, or the player's personal backstory and personal quest.

I run 1:1 sessions with players apart from the main game time so that players can delve deeper into their backstory and acquire cool items or explore more without feeling like they are distracting the party.

I draw all of our maps with a variety of software and create all of the custom art. I also purchased music licenses so we have custom soundtracks.

I also run one-shots in other game systems (Pathfinder, Mork Borg, Cyberpunk) for holidays and special occasions.

The sessions are recorded and put on an unlisted YouTube playlist for the players to have and enjoy.

Most importantly I consistently receive feedback from all of my players is that this is the best game players have ever participated in!

I ask that players contribute $10 per session; this is to help me cover our own Foundry server hosted on a private data center, DDB subscription, multiple Patreons that enrich our content, music licenses, map software, game materials, etc.

Finally, I wanted to say that my games have multiple members of diverse groups and I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive gaming space. I welcome players of all backgrounds, races, genders, sexual orientations, experience, and abilities.

I am currently a player in this campaign and it has been an amazing experience. This has been my first real campaign and it is because of my experience in this game that I started really enjoying DnD. The Dm is a wonderful person who is really helpful to new players. He creates an awesome landscape with creative and interesting characters. I would 100% recommend this game to anyone who was interested in playing DnD.

About me:

I am 55 years old (Gen X) I have been playing on and off for many years. My first D&D game was AD&D in 1985. I have been playing weekly via r20/D&D beyond since COVID

I’ve been in two of this DM’s campaigns including this one. I can’t recommend it enough! The campaign is well balanced with RP, combat, exploration, riddles, etc.. A wide variety of content is used between WoTC, 3rd party creators, homebrew and even revamping content from older editions to work in 5e. The campaign is open world, allowing us to explore as much or as little as we want., including but not limited to Faerun, the Abyss, the Astral Sea, etc.. Combat is engaging and balanced, with every encounter feeling like a challenge in some way. The NPC’s are wonderfully brought to life by the DM, each having their own personality, speech patterns and quirks. 

I am really interested.  I am retired and have committed to filling my time with DnD  *grins  I was a late comer to the game and am loving it.  I've been playing for about 4 years now, and just learning how much there is to learn!

I am 53 and have been playing for 40 years. I am new to playing online though. I would love to join your campaign as a dedicated player. I do have a visual impairment and read with a magnifier.
